I’ll try to make this somewhat complicated event easy to understand. Insurance companies submit estimates for insurance costs (payouts) in to the federal government. If the payouts exceed 103 percent of the estimate, the taxpayers cut a check to insurance companies for 50 percent of the loss. 108 percent equals an 80 percent bailout.
President Obama told everyone that he expected family premiums to be lowered by $2,500 per year. We’ve established that statement as a lie, but there is more. We said premium costs and health care would be more expensive due to this legislation and now the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) agrees.
As expected, Project Veritas released a second video yesterday afternoon highlighting outright fraud within the ranks of Obamacare navigators being paid with taxpayer dollars to provide guidance to enrollees.
This is the fix? The Obama administration sets the rules for insurance companies to follow during the last three years, then President Obama “administratively” changes the rules of the game, after the game has ended?
From our friend Andrew C. McCarthy posting over at National Review Online.
The group’s website is doyougotinsurance.com and it’s buckled under the pressure this morning. Ray and Jim are talking about these ads, so we’ll get them up here so you can see a few.
Really? Let’s just get this out of the way right now. There is no way anything is going to be “fixed” by Friday afternoon. So why do you think Democrats in Congress are demanding the White House get it fixed? It’s all about the upcoming elections baby!
Maybe the fool will resign, but I doubt it. The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) points out even though U.S. House Rep. Kurt Schrader (D-Ore.) called out President Obama’s “you can keep your plan, keep your doctor period” promise as “grossly misleading,” Schrader himself made the exact same promise to voters, multiple times!
That’s the real question I’ve been thinking about this morning. Sure enough, AP over at Hot Air was thinking about the same thing last night when word leaked the federal exchange had signed up about 50,000 during the last 40 days or so. But…
You knew this was coming. Project Veritas released the first video of at least two that will expose Obamacare Navigator fraud in Texas.
