Twitter: Malloy to Unions … who’s your daddy?
If you are not following me on Twitter you are missing what is and will be a weekend long rant on Malloy budget deal. Here is what i have up so far:
So when the mood hits me … I will tweet. Follow at twitter.com/jimvicevich or @jimvicevich.
I tried to explain why this is bad to my girlfriend earlier, she was focused on the fact these folks /could have/ lost their jobs. She won’t be singing that same tune when the new wave of taxes hit.
Next stop, New Jersey, when the small software company I work for decides it is no longer financially viable to do business from this state.
U R right Delta … the joy over no layoffs will crowd out the fact that nothing was reformed. Just postponed. Malloy not a leader … just another political hack lookin out for his buds.
“Got your back”?? More like the beast with two backs riding the backs of the CT taxpayer.
?
You sow what you reap, or in this case vote into office…
Really? Was any one os us expecting less? Wake up people it is a blue state,if you want to make a change–go to another state and let these fools run out of money and employers. Who gonna pay the bill then?
As much as I like being in CT (life long resident), it makes no sense to stay here.
I can’t pull harder and fight this insanity too.
They are putting us into financial slavery way too quickly.
I worry about moving to a fiscally sound state like Tenn. for?2 reasons only:
1.? The stupidity at the state and local levels will follow? – like a cancer.
2.? The feds will just take that state’s money?under the guise of helping those who cannot help themselves.?
Other than that – when?I go,?my family (3?more taxpayers) goes?with me.?
I would just like to thank: all the public sector employees for supporting your union leaders, all you die-hard, liberal democrats, and oh yes….Bridgeport, for all you have accomplished for the state of Connecticut.
Last one out, get the lights.
Follow you on Twitter?
News this morning:? tentative agreement.? Alas, there is a 400 million shortfall in the 2 billion that Malloy told us he would get in concessions from public sector unions.
Sharin’ the sacrifice.
Of course, Malloy has said that the shortfall will be made up in more spending cuts (trying not to laugh) and “revenues” he’s going to bring to the state which, I suspect, means that he will go through with the gas tax increase and create a few others.? We are doomed.
Winnie, Yup, always Right in my book.
rowland had a good idea, call your legislators and fed congressmen AT THEIR HOMES to complain not the numbers in the phone book. thats the way they call you for you vote and $$$
