Don’t believe anything you read online. Heck, don’t even believe the stuff I write. The press and gun-control activists keep harping on Stand Your Ground (SYG) laws in various states. They are fixated on it, referring to specific cases as “clear problems” with the law when those examples have nothing to do with SYG.

Goodness grief. Either he committed a federal crime or he didn’t. Attorney General Eric Holder isn’t quite sure if George Zimmerman will be charged with some unknown federal crime. He’s not sure how long the investigation will take.

Certainly we can discuss if George Zimmerman should have gotten out of his car and followed Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla. in late February, but that seems to be the only thing prosecutors can even try to hold against Zimmerman in their Murder 2 charge.
