Send care packages today! Troopathon begins at 4 p.m. ET (Live Video Now)

Today is the final push for Standing for our Soldiers – Troopathon 2010. Last year our team was able to raise more than $17,000 in support of our service men and women serving overseas. Can you help again this year?

Later today, we’ll embed the live video feed right here. The Troopathon event, hosted by Andrew Breitbart, Melanie Morgan and Mark Williams will start at 4 p.m. ET. Featured guests include Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Dennis Miller, John Bolton, Bruce Jenner and many others.

You can help make the daily routine of our troops serving in Afghanistan and Iraq a little more bearable and thank them for their services all at the same time. Once again this year, Radio Vice Online has joined up with Ron Winter to form the cornerstone of Team Greyhawk.

Why Send Care Packages?
We’ve heard from countless members of the Armed Forces serving in the Middle East about items that the military does not provide, are hard to come by and they really appreciate getting . That’s why Move America Forward has responded and compiled care packages that contain these goods as a way of saying “thank you” for their sacrifices and courage. Care packages are packed full of gourmet coffee, Oreo cookies, Jelly Belly jelly beans, high-quality beef jerky, trial mix, Gatorade, deodorant, Chap Stick, sun block, CDs and much more.

Most importantly, each care package will include a personal message written by you where you can express your gratitude to our military. This is done through the order form by putting your message in the Comments box. Along with your message will be included a “self-addressed” envelope for the troops to send you a Thank You note if, and when, they have time. This is done through the order form by putting your address in the Ship To field. Rest assured that all care packages are sent to Afghanistan and Iraq.

Move America Forward is a 501(C)3 so all care package donations are tax deductible.

Unfortunately I won't be home at 4 pm, but that won't stop me.  I went online last night and did my part at The Campaign Store.  I set up an account with them last year.  They do great work for our troops.

Hope to be able to listen in this afternoon but if not went to the Campaign Store this morning. We need to support our troops in every way we can – also open your mouth in public and support them, don't stand quietly on the sidelines, if you do not stand up for them verbally no one will hear your thoughts. You will all be surprised at how many people are standing quietly until you open your mouth and start talking – then so many come forward and begin talking too. It is such a great feeling to see people expressing their feelings aloud – do this today and get them to go the Campaign Store or listen this afternoon, just a few words can make such a great difference.

Our country spends more in defense than the rest of the world combined, and yet we sent our troops including national guard into battle without sufficiently armoured personnel vehicles and not enough body army. Has there been any reassurance from this administration that spending priorities would be examined to make sure nothing like that ever happens again? And what about the many thousands that have come back severly injured? What is the government's committment to them? History suggests they will be forgten warriors. I commend the "support our troops efforts",  and encourage Jim to keep on this issue to make sure that the Obama administration addresses the larger issues that put our troops at risk. Jim, how about a campaign to find out what impact our presence in 150+  countries has on our ability to equip and protect our troops? And Jim, help us find out how many of our troops will be occupying the permanent bases we're building in Iraq and what the risks are for them? Jim, light a fire under Obama. Take it the next step. I'd really like to hear from you on this.
