Finally, some one said it!

Apparently, there has been an epiphany — a moment of clarity, if you will — in the GOP.

“Republican Party officials say they will try next month to pass a resolution accusing President Bush and congressional Republican leaders of embracing “socialism,” underscoring deep dissension within the party at the end of Mr. Bush’s administration.

Those pushing the resolution, which will come before the Republican National Committee at its January meeting, say elected leaders need to be reminded of core principles. They said the RNC must take the dramatic step of wading into policy debates, which traditionally have been left to lawmakers.”

Too bad they are only now realizing what other observers have known for weeks, especially given that the GOP has gone along with this foolishness.

what a freakin joke. Bush and republicans have been embracing socialism since day one, it took 8 years to figure this out? Our country needs an enema.

Nothing like a good dose of reality (i.e. losing big), to shake a few of these toads out of complacency.

    Hope it isn't too late.
