Connecticut’s John Larson says Tea Party … a “cold front moving in”

and he kept that rift going for 11 minutes. H/T to ctcapitolreport.com. But then again this is what happens when a   Connecticut congressman has no fear of the tea party. After all in the biggest election in decades for folks on the right Connecticut still turned left.

It all took place before a closed-door (of course) meeting of the Democratic House Caucus. The First District congressman did not hold back.

In an 11-minute, metaphor-laced talk to two reporters before a closed-door meeting, House Democratic Caucus Chairman John Larson of Connecticut likened the GOP majority’s legislating to a “long winter” for the nation. The caucus, which Larson runs, is the top communications arm for the party in Congress.

“And this week we’re told that the tea party will bring yet another cold front to Washington, D.C.,” Larson said. “And in doing so, it’s our understanding that the Republican leaders are standing back and looking to see what kind of shadow is cast to see whether or not we’ll have six more weeks of continuing resolution.”

According to the politico, Larson leftists will do little icing on the cake for Republicans,  Saying they have shown an icy indifference toward creating jobs. There’s a cold front coming through my little mobsters, and never mind that after spending nearly $1 trillion stimulating the economy,  we still have a nearly 9% unemployment rate, $14 trillion plus in debt, the highest gas prices in years … and we didn’t even get a lousy Tee Shirt.

Connecticut”s Tea Party is planning a rally on the Capitol steps on April 15th. What say we turn out in “Frosty” fashion and show Congressman Larson the front is moving through New England too.

Tea Party leader Bob McGuffee will be joining us on Tuesday the 12th at 11 and we will have details.

Cliches abound with the left…it's all they have.  If they were to focus on facts and actually attack the problems that face little ol' CT, they wouldn't have the energy to go after the 'iced tea party'.

I think William Shakespeare said it best…"Now is the winter of our discontent…"

A Ted Kennedy piss boy speaks – and he still has the Kennedy "bouffant."

John Larson – a walking talking advertisement for term limits.

I always have to wonder what the thought process is for people who fill in that circle next to Larson's name on the ballot. Now that I write out that sentence, I realize that it must be that he's on the Democrat line, or people have heard his name before. It's got nothing to do with what he will do for the state or country.

Too bad we don't have a good candidate in the 2nd district either. Courtney is in office only because Simmons wasn't a good candidate. Just look how good Simmons did in that ridiculous "Business Advocate" position Rell wasted money on.

I think it is time for the Democrat party to be renamed the Demagogue party, give the performance of Larson and that recent faux pas by Schumer on the conference call.

I just wish the Republicans would stop playing nice with these sphincter ani….

So now Larson is a ground hog?

I would move a bit lower on the food chain; maybe something like a round worm…..?

"…Ct. congressman has no fear of the tea party. After all in the biggest election in decades for folks on the right Connecticut still turned left."

While at the airport last week I met a gentleman who was here on business (in Colebrook and Prospect, re: wind turbines) and I mentioned this show and the comment that Jim's made about the rest of the country going right and how CT went left. This man said he didn't get it…almost everyone he's met here leans to the right.

I can't wait until April 15th Tea Party…the only day I feel that my voice is heard.

That gentleman was here on business, talking with "working people",  who still have a job.

So what he’s saying is the tea party will end global warming.

Larson doesn't realize that he's one of the reasons that the Tea Party has gained so much momentum and strength. This clown is only a relic, a dinosaur that has outlived his usefulness. Fortunately his time is short.

John Larson should be arrested for "Grand Larceny". All he has done is stolen money and everything else from Connecticut. "Oh Connecticut" when will we ever learn. I think there was a song with that in it during the protest years.
