He ran as a new kind of politician. Not so and the pattern is finally emerging. First there was the Obama truth squad that I have detailed below. Disgraceful. More disturbing though is his pattern of handing out public funds to family and friends.

As a member of the Woods Fund back in his Chicago days he funneled money to both Bill Ayers wife and the Rev Wright. Now Hot Air reports …  he made sure he didn’t forget his wife’s family either.

The Associated Press has probed Barack Obama’s earmarking activities in the Illinois state senate and discovered two grants that put state money in the hands of Michelle Obama’s cousin.  Capers Funnye received $75,000 from Obama for his organization, Blue Gargoyle, for adult literacy and youth group activities:
