Good for me, not for thee… again.
Every so often, Congress vomits forth a bit of hypocrisy nastier than most… like this:
“The new congressional jets may be getting scrapped.
After an uproar over a proposed purchase of new executive jets for use by senior government officials, including members of Congress, the top Defense appropriator in the House has offered to eliminate funding for the planes – but only if the Pentagon, which operates the jets, agrees.
“If the Department of Defense does not want these aircraft, they will be eliminated from the bill,” Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.), the chairman of the Defense Appropriations Subcommitee said Monday evening.”
For those coming late to the rodeo, Murtha has created a whole airport out of whole cloth… or, to be more precise, Congressional earmarks.
Another day, another couple hundred million…

Congress should be forced to travel by stagecoach. That way, they will have plenty of time to go on Hillaryesque "listening tours" of the country, and maybe learn a thing or two.
Legislative exemptions are the worst form of hypocrisy.
