Voters Ready to Punish Democrats?
John has been following the polls very closely, once again compelling us to push up his link on the page. it also deals directly with one of our polls yesterday … are Democrats overreaching. I am not so sure. But it is an interesting narrative.
The parties are now in a virtual dead heat, with 40% preferring a generic Democratic candidate and 39% choosing the generic Republican.

It’s a long time until 2010, and by 2012 it will be too late. Far too many Congresscritters are in safe seats.
They will totally over reach but what will be left? The fat lady has sung and has left the building…..lol….When?I was akid they showed us nuclear war movies and where the bomb shelters were….this is more frightful…we have to hide our money in the bomb shelters of old…
Maybe the problem is that they are all generic, pedestrian and borderline pathetic.?
Seriously, how does someone like Dodd convince people to vote for him?? Is there really a majority of people that think he is doing anything resembling a good job?? Or even a mediocre job?? Can you imagine the level of hubris that make this hack, this buffoon, think he was qualified to be president (although considering what we got, I guess you can see his reasoning)?? Of course I should talk: I have to get rid of members of the Kennedy Crime Family by attrition.
Given recent revelations of incompetence and corruption, I am beginning to believe that there may be a small possibility that enough people might wake up to the fact that Dodd needs to go, but it is a long way to 2010 (and I am sure we will never see the fabled mortgage papers before then).
