Hillary Clinton lies about Hobby Lobby SCOTUS ruling

Here is the full, in-context video of which Jim featured portions of on the big radio show today.

… the corporations employers can [now] impose their religious beliefs on their employees, and of course denying women the right to contraception as part of their health care plan is exactly that.

Hillary Clinton is a liar. Will anyone stand up to her and tell her that is not at all what this case concludes? Will someone in the media have the guts to ask Clinton if Hobby Lobby last week, today and next week includes three types of birth control pills, sponges, diaphragms and 11 other types of birth control? The answer is YES, but she won’t tell you that.

She did not mis-speak, make an error or confuse some words … she is outright lying. She’s speaking to the low-information voters who will actually think Hobby Lobby just cut-off all access to birth control and the employees no longer have access, and everyone else is next. Lie. Total lie.

The case does however exempt Hobby Lobby from having to pay for abortifacients like Plan B. Plan B – an emergency contraceptive – is available at Target for $46.99. It’s available over-the-counter, with no prescription from a doctor required. If a woman needs an emergency contraceptive, they have three days from the time they have unprotected sex to take Plan B. Confused about that? No problem, Plan B One Step has a handy “Countdown Clock” on their website and you can enter in your zip code to find a location where you can buy Plan B. There are 25 locations in my area.

And Hillary Clinton finds this “deeply disturbing?” What the hell is wrong with people?

One way to look at this … compromise is not what the “pro-choice” crowd wants. You could say Hobby Lobby – by providing all but four contraceptive measures through their health insurance coverage – compromised. But that’s not good enough. For the activist pro-choice crowd, it’s all or nothing. Give us what we want – all of it – or we’re going to go out and tell the world you provide nothing and we’ll get the media to tow the line.

Don’t you see what the media and the left are doing here? It’s happening right before your very eyes. Don’t let them get away with it. Share this post and my previous post with everyone you know.

I think Hillary is unacquainted with the truth. Will somebody please introduce truth to her?

Egads! Hilly is chipping and denouncing the very legislation that her hubby, Billy Braaaappp, passed and signed into law. Signed because all of the powerful lefties WANTED the law passed — to protect those poor Indians who are only smoking ( or whatever) peyote in their religious services. So, the lefties are “yeah, let’s cover ’em wid a law wid a nifty sounding name, like, the Fall 2008 Article 10 2008 — The Religious Freedom Restoration Act and Protection of Native American Religious Practices. Sweet name! Signed into law by none other that Bill Clinton, his self. And then to have Hilly go all down and nuts on it, priceless.
Dripping with irony…especially in light of today’s rulings. LOL uncontrollably!!!!!
Hillary and the truth — now there is a true “you won’t never see that happen” — moment that the democrats would like to never have happened.
That said, Hillery can say just about anything and skate with it. It is that as long as it is not the truth! twist anything into the party narrative:that’s cool; lie about the Hobby Lobby ruling,eh so what. So some protest signs appear/ Suggest that the ruling against the unions is cause for hysterical moaning and lamentations, the Left Stream Media will dutifully…

…suck up on it and enlarge it’s scope. Doom and gloom, stock elements in the democrat’s war on Men and, now, their war on the truth.
At the end of the day or week, who could be so low, mean, dirty, (etc) as the Republican’s are portrayed? Why, It’s the democrat’s snake, lower overall, slithering into first place with a bouquet of prior victim’s bones clenched in its mouth.
In the view of any democrat, Republican’s are the cause, disease, continuance and impediment to crony progress(ive) healing that would cure the nation. –Just get those homophobic, racist, PBR-swilling, sister-kissing, gun toting, cousin-marrying uncouths out of the way and the Democratic plan for success for EVERYONE (conservatives need not apply) would soon blossom into a veritable Garden of Eden.
(Some restrictions apply. Like: Have you given enough?)

How do you really feel about this?

Steve – I love reading your posts. I just wanted to point out that the phrase at the end of this article should be “toe the line”….

Isn’t it amazing that all these so called crackerjack lawyers (the Clintons, ?bama etc.) and “constitutional scholars” (?bama; and I almost spit out my own coffee just writing that) are completely bereft of any skills in their alleged expertise. I am trying to think of anything ?bama has said or promised that hasn’t been a lie. I certainly is a short list if it exists at all. Are they truly so full of themselves that they think they are correct, or (and more likely closer to the truth) are they just bamboozling us as standard operating procedure (SOP)?

Well, their SOP is creating SNAFUs in the country and rendering it FUBAR. All for money and power. I think ?bama has turned Nero’s fiddle into a golf putter.

    Hillery Clinton lies….nuf said???

It does irritate me that she lies with impunity and is so blatant about it, but that is to be expected.
The really sickening aspect is the sycophant media that gives her free advertising so that she (and the democrats) can raise money and court donors for her campaign machine and her “charity.”

    • Dimsdale on July 3, 2014 at 10:38 am

I think she is trying to catch up to ?bama’s lying record. Even with a substantial head start, I wish her luck, but not on my dime.

LOL. If Obama’s lips are moving, he is lying! Hillary might have an advantage only because she is way older. Obama is more skilled at lying.

This is for you, b-p. I watched the video clip above and read other commentary about Hillary Clinton remarks. You say she lied. She did not say that HL did not offer contraceptives to its employees. She did say that the decision is a slippery slope (I agree w/ that). A response from Conservatives (Steve Hayes at Fox News) said that her statements were “absurd”. That’s not much of a refutation of the 5 min of the interview. It serves her politics to decry the SCOTUS decision, it serves the politics of the commentators here to say that she lied.

    • Dimsdale on July 8, 2014 at 1:17 pm

I think she did starting at about 1:07. She said that contraception “can be pretty expensive”. Well HL offered their employees $14 min wage and 16 out of 20 contraception methods. Is HL imposing their religious beliefs on their employees, or is government imposing its liberal secular (and now unconstitutional) beliefs on HL?

    • sammy22 on July 8, 2014 at 2:25 pm

Have it your way on what is expensive for what and for whom. Wrong again on the Constitution: this ruling had nothing to do w/ it. The ruling had to do w/ a law passed during the Clinton years. Just like you blame the Liberals about repeating the same erroneous statements, you ( and Rush) might get people really believe that this sorry affair has something to do w/ the Constitution. Like Steve urged, read what the SCOTUS decided.

    • Dimsdale on July 8, 2014 at 6:44 pm

It is at least as much a constitutional ruling as Roe v. Wade. The Clinton law is a restoration of Constitutionally guaranteed rights.

Again, with a minimum (meaning that one could make more) and Sundays off (why, you could get another job to pay for that abortifacient – or maybe it would be covered!) the expense of 15-50 bucks a month is trivial. Women could save more money by demanding that their clothes be priced reasonably.

Nice dodge on what Hillary said and the imposition of secular “religion” by the way.

    • Dimsdale on July 8, 2014 at 9:05 pm

Maybe we should look to the White House to make the pay for women there equitable (as opposed to 13% less) to the men and they could easily afford those abortifacients…

    • sammy22 on July 9, 2014 at 11:04 am

Dims, you old dodger, you! Shifting to the WH. And why not? Just waiting to see who comes up to claim the other 16 contraception methods are objectionable as well. Hobby Lobby, maybe??
