Zbigniew Brzezinski: Iraq just not worth it.

From the National Security Adviser to one of our worst Presidents, at the helm when Iran took Americans hostage for more than a year, and helped negotiate away the Panama Canal, takes shot at Iraq war. OK, sure you got rid of Saddam … but did it make the mideast safer? Pay particular attention to the sucking sound from the MSNBC folks.

    Was that the infamous, weasely Mike Barnicle who was praising Zbig, the critic of Bush, and questioning the judgment of Peres? The guy that was such a bad reporter (fabricating stories out of whole cloth) that even the Boston Globe had to fire him?

    It wasn't too hard, either by the wording of the questions or the reactions to the answers, to see what Barnicle believes.

    It is time to scrape this Barnicle off.

    The truth is that because of the freeing of up to 25 million Muslims in Iraq, freedom is begining to march in the Middle East.

    Zbigniew Brzezinski was the gentleman advising Jimmy Carter on security when the Iranian's overtook the embassy.

    According to some, the leaders of the revolution were horrified, fearing the United States, theretofore a spectator to the internal affairs of Iran — mayhap even an abettor, given the way the Shah was left to twist in the wind — would be roused into action and intervene in Iran. However, Jimmy, in his infinite wisdom and guided by such luminaries as Zbiggy here, *apologized* — he didn't have the slightest idea *WHAT* he was apologizing for, but he apologized. At this point, the mullahs knew that Jimmy Carter was a weak sister of a leader. He and Zbiggy compounded their folly by letting the rescue effort turn into a self-esteem event, where, rather than a unified command, he let the military play politics with it. Good men died and more were left twisting in the wind, personally and professionally, because Jimmy Carter and Zbigniew were on the job.
