Your Obamacare waiver update
When last we posted on this, 1433 waivers, covering some 3.2 million people, had been granted from the wildly popular program known as Obamacare. On Friday, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid released more good news.
As of the end of July, we are now up to 1472 one year waivers.
In addition to that, we now have 106 three year waivers under the new procedure announced in June. In total, 3.4 million Americans are now covered by these waivers, of whatever duration.
A three year waiver will take the companies up to January 1, 2014, when all Americans will be fortunate enough to be subjected to Obamacare, and the 3.4 million current waiver recipients no doubt, will lose their employer provided insurance altogether.
Companies, unions and states have until September 22 to apply for waivers, and after that, no more waiver applications will be accepted. Apparently, the bad publicity from the continuing series of press releases disclosing more and more waivers became too much for the administration.
As you know, there is nothing in the Obamacare law passed by Congress that allows, or even contemplates, waivers of any sort be granted by the administration, but, it wouldn’t do to have 3.4 million irate Americans voting in 2012.

And on and on and on. You know the drill.
I guess King Barry never thought this one through too thoroughly, or did he? ?I’ve never known a president to work so hard at tearing down the country he claims as his own… or is it? ?
Claims TO own, isn’t it?
Obamacare “wildly popular”…bwahahahahaaaaaaa
At least once I get my certification and license as an OTA I *could* potentially work for a private union facility & get benefits that way (would rather not, though).? As it is, I’m just waiting for my husband’s company to drop all health care coverage.? Don’t think they’ll apply for a waiver.
No waivers unless you promise to vote for the Prez and his gang of thieves. In the Animal Farm world, we’ve been reduced to stupid sheep, the pigs are in their glory.
Awe, don’t be so hard on yourself and the other righties..
Here’s the “not-so-easy” way to get a waiver or full-government provided health care: N.C. Man Allegedly Robs Bank of $1 to get Heath Care
?
if only 32 million people were uninsured before o’care, why is it costing billions of dollars and requiring waivers???? do we add the 3.2 million to the pre-existing 32 million?? is it possible that what has been touted as progressive is really regressive?? oh, the humanity. . .
I’m not waivering in my demand for a waiver!? Waving at SOS 🙂
