Where is Harry Reid’s immaginary friend now?
About six weeks ago we did a post on Senator Harry Reid’s (D. Nv.) claim that Mitt Romney hadn’t paid taxes in 10 years. Reid’s assertion went something like this.
He received a phone call from someone who claimed to be an investor in Bain Capital who told him that Romney hadn’t paid taxes in 10 years…pretty serious stuff. Senator Reid never told us who this “source” was but, he presumably felt confident enough in the source that he decided to release this “information” to Americans. And he did so, both long and loud.
We now know (if we didn’t at the time) that Senator Reid’s assertions were blatantly false. On Friday, we learned that,
…PricewaterhouseCoopers, the firm that prepared the Romneys’ taxes, reported that Romney paid an average annual effective federal tax rate of 20.2 percent from 1990-2009.
Hum.
Does anyone think Senator Reid will apologize for misleading Americans about something as serious as this?

so how many tax dollars go to this idiot to make things up? He must be on a fact finding committee. Doesn’t have time to find facts so makes them up as he goes along.? This guy is a well respected person? I say “not” he’s an over paid liberal on the dole.

In Democrat world, also known as Bizzarro, it is the message of the democrats that is important. If it is a charge that the Republicans like, for instance, polka dots, then every ‘crat operative will lead-off their diatribe with that statement. Does their charge have to be true?
Err, no, but them saying it makes it sound important. The media, slavering jackals that they are, feverishly trumpet the ridiculous charge over and over.
It matters little if HarryReid is a lying fool. He did his ‘crat job of getting the message out. He made the Democrat charge that the, shiver, hated Republicans like polka dots, and that is the only thing the media and news consumers will hear.?
HarryReid is a tottering, lying old fool? Seriously, we will be told, this is not about HarryReid, it’s about the message. Anyway, he’s not in at the moment. He’s on vacation.

Perhaps the objective was to get Romney to publicize how rich he is in order to make use of the class envy wound that the Obama administration has been so busy rubbing raw in brainwashing? so many into believing that he gives the slightest damn about them.? I can think of few better ways of showing that one is a contemptible millionaire and billionaire who needs to pull his fair share than by showing tax records.? My guess is that Hairy Reed knew what he was doing and it was a calculated gamble.

…made all the more easy by non-reporting by the MSM.? Anyone whose snout isn’t buried in the slop that is mislabeled information can tell that there’s a HUGE bias within the media.? They control the narrative of the so-called reporting and will unduly influence the election.

People like Reid will say anything because they can with relative impunity.? Make up people and use them to hurl unfounded third party accusations suggesting that Romney is a tax cheat but let Romney make a frank assessment about the 47% who think Obama will give them what they think they deserve and he’s branded a heartless elitist who only cares about the rich.

Harry Reid is supposedly a former boxer (must have been a long-lost category of “extreme feather weight”). Perhaps he took too many blows to the head.? Or was beaten by his shadow boxing partner (ie his own shadow on the wall) and hasn’t gotten over it yet.? Still chasing that elusive imaginary foe.? Pitty the fool !?

Harry’s imaginary friend is riding a tricycle around in a loop in the empty space between those two big ears of his.
We should all send e mails and facebooks and twitters Etc, to the lamestream media and ask them to ask Harry what he makes of this claim that Mitt paid taxes for the past 20 years.
Then when he says he never said it because his “friend”? said it so he never said it. Besides it was not?him standing at the podium saying that Mitt paid no taxes he wasn’t there that day.
