I have never … let me repeat, Joe Biden, I have never believed that this is a good philosophy, especially with the market system and the SCOTUS at stake. But it’s a point of view.

As of this moment, this election is shaping up as a thorough beating for the G.O.P. at the presidential and Congressional levels. The good news for the Republicans, if they are defeated comprehensively this year, is that it will lead to a much-needed overhaul of the party. The bad news: They could be out in the wilderness for a while.

By the way, those of you folks on the left that think regulation is a good thing … exhibit A is Europe.

UPDATE: Oh … just to add a little levity. If the Duke were here, he probably feel the same way. GOP … consider this your whuppin’!
