Weekend Video: Rep. Kelly on the House floor … Overwhelming regulations

Hat tip to Phineas at Sister Toldjah. In short, President Obama and the Democrats promised to look at and reduce overwhelming federal regulations, but they keep writing new ones every friggin’ day.

    Like gun laws: write endless legislation to “control” guns, fail to enforce them, complain the existing laws aren’t working, write even more liberty repressing laws. ?Lather, rinse, repeat. ?When they finally decide to enforce the law, ?it will be like England, and all your guns are gone. ?But the violence remains, and crime actually increases.

    Nice, huh??

      Here’s something to consider . . . In early June,
      Venezuela became the latest country to totally ban civilian ownership of firearms. (Hugo Chavez’s communist government is also pulling out of he OAS and from numerous treaties with its neighbors.) Even with a totalitarian government, Venezuela can’t control its internal violence. “Criminals in Venezuela aren’t getting permits for their guns in the first place.”
      I wonder if there is something about the government, or criminals or,? . . . what?
      Re: the video: I was waiting for Kelly to propose a bill to eliminate the bill to . . . rousing speech! Certainly one that Americans could agree with, if only they ever heard it.

    Thanks for letting us hear his entire speech. Love it when the people of Irish descent get riled up! But, I have to admit, he made it very clear this would help All Americans. Priceless!

    Kelly said what so many know to be true but don’t have the spine to speak out.? I agree….we need many more like him in Congress if we are ever going to put this country back on the right path.
