Voter fraud in Florida – Non-citizens registered to vote … and voting

Voter fraud is voter fraud. I don’t care if the fraud is perpetuated by Democrats, Republicans or Martians. As far as I’m concerned, those who illegally vote in the United States invalidate the vote of a citizen. We need to tighten down the voter registration process, validate voter rolls and demand positive ID at polling places.

From NBC2 in Florida.

Two elections supervisors are taking action after an NBC2 investigation uncovers flawed record keeping and human error allowing people who are not citizens of the United States to vote.

No one knows how widespread this problem is, because county election supervisors have no way to track non-citizens who live here.

So NBC2 did something election officials never thought to do, and found them on our own.

“I vote every year,” Hinako Dennett told NBC2.

The Cape Coral resident is not a US citizen, yet she’s registered to vote.

NBC2 found Dennett after reviewing her jury excusal form. She told the Clerk of Court she couldn’t serve as a juror because she wasn’t a U.S. citizen.

We found her name, and nearly a hundred others like her, in the database of Florida registered voters.

Naples resident Yvonne Wigglesworth is also a not a citizen, but is registered to vote. She claims she doesn’t know how she got registered.

“I have no idea. I mean, how am I supposed to know.”

Records show Wigglesworth voted six times in elections dating back eleven years.

Exit Question: If checking off the box stating they are a citizen when registering to vote when they are not a citizen is a third degree felony, how many people have been charged in Florida?

But the Democrats, who are fighting positive voter ID at every turn, say there is no evidence of voter fraud, and if there is, it is “anecdotal”!!? It would be interesting, but not surprising, to ask which party these ineligible voters are affiliated with.
    ?
Answer to question: my guess is zero.

    • crystal4 on February 6, 2012 at 11:26 am

Here we go. Every time it looks like the election will be a loss for the right, they start with the craziness. The tired old? “VOTER FRAUD”!
No posts about the red states trying to disenfranchise voters.
(Texas: your gun permit is a valid ID, but not your student ID….just one example).
How about a post on what they found was how easy a Diebold voting machine can be hacked with no trace left that it was?

    • Dimsdale on February 6, 2012 at 11:52 am

Hmm.? Every time there is voter fraud, it is in favor of Democrats.? See: Florida in 2000, Kings County,WA (pick an election),? Ohio in 2008 to name a few.? I can provide links, but as sammy says: Google it.? ACORN, anyone?? If there is a voting machine in a car trunk, it is the trunk of a Democrat.? If votes are “found” at the last minute, they swing an election towards a Democrat.
      ?
In South Carolina, famous for the “Justice” Department’s persecution on this very topic, would provide FREE government ID to anyone that needed it.? How do you disenfranchise anyone except illegal voters (the point) with this??
      ?
Yes, a gun permit is an excellent ID, as it has FBI verification.? Student IDs have not much more than paying a tuition bill as verification.
      ?
How about a story on someone actually hacking a Diebold machine, other than in a lab?

    • JBS on February 6, 2012 at 4:34 pm

Why would the Dems resist positive ID at the polls unless they wanted to cheat?

    • Steve M on February 7, 2012 at 8:50 am

How about if you get your own blog and take the time to write those stories? I’m sorry the selection of limited posts I write don’t meet your standards…

  2. crystal4 on February 6, 2012 at 12:06 pm

If you look at all the studies done, there is NO voter fraud that “threw any elections by Dems.was no election fraud by Dems. However, the election fraud in 2000 and 2004 was undeniable and stunning.
    ?

  3. Dimsdale on February 6, 2012 at 12:45 pm

Undeniable and stunning on the part of Democrats!? Recounting only Broward and other heavily Dem areas?? Throwing out or “losing” mail in votes from soldiers overseas???
    ?
Really?? And what “studies” would those be?? Did they include http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2003808207_votefraud27m.html, or this: http://www.electionintegritywatch.com/documents/2011-Report-Voter-Fraud-Convictions.pdf, etc., etc?
    ?
The bottom line is that positive voter ID would prevent fraud for BOTH parties, yet only ONE party is fighting it, not to mention coming up with numerous ways for the vote to be, ah, manipulated, i.e. “motor voter” laws and “same day registration”.??
    ?
Positive ID and paper ballots (or paper backups) would be the best defense against voter fraud.? For both parties.

Just make it harder to vote, sure….if I go to the polls (many elderly and poor with no driver’s licenses do this in CT)with my electric bill with my name and address on it-what’s wrong with that. They will only have my name there if I am a registered voter. Once they cross off my name, no one else can vote in my name. Yet the multiple votes from 1 person fantasy remains.
How about the Kochs’ Americans For Prosperity sending absentee ballots? to? registered Dems with the date for returning them on the attached letter being after the legal time? (Which would mean the votes would be disgarded)? Now THAT voter fraud!!!!
      No morals or conscience, sigh.

    • Dimsdale on February 6, 2012 at 3:08 pm

See below.? I will have to leave it at that.

    • Lynn on February 7, 2012 at 3:57 pm

It is exceptionally easy to vote ALWAYS.? An elderly person who is sick even bed-ridden or a handicapped person can vote by absentee ballot.? I call people 2 – 3 months before every election to make people aware how to vote by absentee ballot and I know the opposing party makes these calls also. If the person is on the voter list, they may vote. Registrar of voters again from both parties go to Nursing homes and Healthcare Centers. It is not hard to vote legally.

    • Dimsdale on February 7, 2012 at 8:55 pm

I guess the concept of FREE, VALID state issued IDs escape some people.? There are many stories of people going to the polls and finding their names ALREADY crossed off.? Positive ID would prevent that.

ENOUGH with the back and forth. This is NOT a forum, it’s a space to comment on the post.

Voter fraud, perpetrated by a certain Democrat party, is a real crime. To my way of thinking, it is right up there with NOT voting. To me it is a sacred right that I get to exercise on the national, state and local level. Whether my vote counts is another matter entirely.
Voter fraud seeks to swing the majority of the votes to the Democrat side. In a national presidential election, this has huge ramifications as the greatest vote tally wins the Electoral College votes. My vote means nothing if it is not in the majority. There is not a category for greatest popular vote in a presidential election. I believe that there has been instances where a candidate won the overall popular vote but, lost on the Electoral count.
All voters should be concerned about voter fraud, whether it is done by? illegal aliens or by tampering with voting machines. none of this motor voter or same day registration baloney. Positive ID (yes, utility bills, plural, should be recognized. Student IDs are widely forged to obtain alcohol) should be required anytime there is a vote.

Yes, tighten down on voter fraud. Fraud is fraud whether perpetrated by Democrats, Republicans or Independents.

    • Dimsdale on February 6, 2012 at 8:02 pm

Thank you, sammy.? My point exactly.

    • GdavidH on February 6, 2012 at 9:19 pm

Voter ID, backed up by E-verify. I can show mine!

  8. Eric on February 6, 2012 at 7:14 pm

Okay, so this woman has admitted to voter fraud. ?When does Sgt. Joe Friday show up at her door and drag her downtown for booking? ?Has Barry given the illegals in this country immunity over this kind of prosecution?

    • GdavidH on February 6, 2012 at 9:21 pm

Yes, does the name Holder ring a bell?

  9. ricbee on February 6, 2012 at 7:17 pm

In this new age of computers all will be revealed & much can be healed. Whoever, however doesn’t matter as much as the correction thereof.

  10. cherwin on February 6, 2012 at 8:48 pm

This whole thing makes me sick. I know it’s going on and I am so frustrated that they don’t seem to do anything about it. I thought all voters had to show photo ID’s (at least) in order to vote. I looked into it and found that many states do not even require that much. I just can’t believe it.
This is how Obama got in and?I am afraid that he will cheat his way in again. ?

  11. steve418r on February 6, 2012 at 9:03 pm

At least these people are vertical. In our little town many of the deceased return to vote via absentee ballots. Fortunately we have a sharp town clerk that recognized the names.

    • GdavidH on February 6, 2012 at 9:22 pm

Cut it out! There is no voter fraud, you silly!

  12. Murphy on February 7, 2012 at 12:27 pm

Is illegal to wear a tee shirt with the word ICE on it when you vote??? 😎

  13. Lynn on February 7, 2012 at 4:06 pm

Ah, Bridgeport, CT, fair, fair city and home of “finding” bags of ballots, the day after an election. Surprise surprise they had 3 different vote counts. Amazingly, the last tally proved proof positive that Dannel won! It is funny that last tally did not come out until it was known how many votes were needed to top Foley’s tally.? What’s that you say P.T. Barnum?

    • Dimsdale on February 7, 2012 at 8:59 pm

Barnum must have lived in CT….

    • Lynn on February 8, 2012 at 8:24 am

Ah, A teachable moment. However, I’m sure I will not be as good as President Obama teaching us about racial bias. Yes, P.T. Barnum was born in Ct and lived in Bridgeport, CT. He is rumored to have said, “There is a sucker born every minute”. However, I could not verify that, no time. However, this article is worth a read, wish he were still alive publishing a newspaper.

Bridgeport WAS CERTAINLY? for Foley!!! Just as NH, Hartford, NB was….
