Troopathon Success … $603,049.14

Thanks to all of you who participated in this year’s Troopathon, Melanie Morgan and Move America Forward’s push to send care packages to all of the troops overseas. The final total  is $603,049.14. Wow!

Thanks also to the Greyhawk Team, five great blogs including Radio Vice Online and the Sound Off Connecticut audience. We finished in second place with total collections over just 48 hours of $17,146.06!

We finished just behind Hot Air, Michelle Malkin and Ed Morrissey’s site. They are an amazing bunch … $24,704. And of course let’s not forget Robert Spencer’s Anti-Jihadists at $9,298.

The other teams on the list added greatly too and I would be remiss if I did not mention the folks over at Free Republic collecting $1,249.78. Many of the Freepers contributed here to the Greyhawk Team and I want to thank you guys so much for switching for just a day. God Bless.

Two big shout outs. First, thanks so much to Malibu Fitness in Farmington for contributing $3,000 raised at their Thanksgiving road race last year. Each year they run the race and contribute to soldier care packages and this year they selected the Troopathon. Thanks guys!

And of course our team captain Ron Winter and all of you and the great bloggers helped make the Troopathon a great success. God bless you all for helping.

Great job! It makes me think that America is okay when our soldiers are supported like this. Please visit http://www.pillowsforsoldiers.com where we have a long term commitment to support our troops by sending them awesome pillows to say thanks for their service and to offer some comfort. It would be great if anyone could visit our site. Please pass it on. God bless our soldiers.
