Too much pred?

Hey, Congressman, I’ve been there. Ever listen to a Vicevich rant on SOC? No? It will make you feel better. But then again, Prednisone will do that to you after a couple of years. Ha!

I might normally support any rant against the media and in favor of the troops. But it’s misplaced or phony outrage. Special Report on Fox covers the war every night and that’s what I watch. Not so CNN or MSNBC … so I guess that’s what Patrick watches. Perhaps he should broaden his media horizons?

As for the rant, it can’t be considered normal behavior. Thus, I still think it’s Pred induced, so he gets a break from me.

Prednisone reduces inflamations . I doubt the RANT is  from over  doses of prescription medication. Patches is slurring his words towards the end. He is clearly  drunk . Me thinkst he protests too loudly…Maybe  the rage is from remourse grief that Patrick  lost another mentor. He and Eric Massa will no longer  get together and watch movies about gladiators during those long congressional all nighters.

PV, did you hear, Rep. Patrick is stepping down. He is ranting because he has seen the writing on the wall for both President Obama and the Dems. :)=^..^=

Jim, donh, it does not surprise me that Rep. Patrick Kennedy did what I call a "classic rant". With the sad passing of his father, Senator Edward (Ted ) Kennedy, the reality that many in his Congressional district have turned against him, and his decision not to seek another term in the US House of Representives have all taken its toll and it has as a result, produced this rant. Jim, I have a question. How do you know that Rep.Kennedy is on prednisone? Jim, we do not KNOW what medications, if any Rep.Kennedy is on, for all we know, it could be all of the above that I had cited. At donh, I did noticed towards the end of his rant, that he did start to slur, and he could have had been drinking, your guess is as good as mine.

Jim, I have heard a number of your "classic rants" on SOC, and they with on the national level Mark Levin's "classic rants", and he does at least one a each night, speak from a just frustration with what is going on in our nation. Plus I share with you moments of "classic rants" when I have my "change of life" or "Edith Bunker's problem" moments of "classic ranting". :)=^..^=

Well Anne I think the timing of this meltdown is significant. The Kennedy legacy is on the line with this Obamacare bill. To see Patrick this melted down means that things are  not coming together. The March deadline appears  headed to another failure, as Pelosi was quoted in the news as backing off the set date for a vote.

    • Anne-EH on March 11, 2010 at 12:20 pm

That is true, Rep.Kennedy knows that it is the end of the line not only for the Kennedy family, but also for government take over of healthcare. Even today had seen a desperate lib in the chatroom today. The Dems are doing kamikaze over this.

The lion cub of the Congress squeaks……!

    • Anne-EH on March 12, 2010 at 4:01 am

I was thinking of his late father, how he sounded like the lion of the Senate Dims.

That is the sound of the book being closed on the Kennedy Crime Family.

…..Yep, the END OF THE LINE for this famous family.

Well, he is correct. The media that is consumed in this country is carefully orchestrated. You are told to focus on the people instead of the issues. So you all comply. The Jihad Jane story was really interesting she is indicted on March 4, but nothing hits the papers till the Masse story dries up on March 9.
