Remember now these are the same Democrats that hammered George Bush for 6 years. They demanded he set a timetable for withdrawal. They made it a campaign issue. Remember Obama’s promise to remove the troops in 16 months?
Also remember this is the same James Clyburn who told the Washington Post, if the surge worked “Now that would be a problem for us (Democrats).”

Pass the tiger balm! Nothing President Bush did was right. But everything President Obama does, is. Bush got no time, no benefit of the doubt, no respect. And he kept us safe, and this country safe. Obama, based on nothing but rhetoric and hyperbole, has convinced these people that he knows what he's doing. I have a strong fear of the future. But I will be putting my pressure on my representatives to make damn sure they know how I feel about the stimulus, and on every other issue that comes up. I sick and tired of being pushed out of the ranks of Americans who care.
This guy is a total fraud and phony. Absolutely no moral convictions at all, he's going with the wind and this guy is one of the leaders of the House Democrats.
Did the hosts on Morning Joe take him to task or just play along?
Can I always count on hearing insults/put-downs from Conservatives/Libertarians? Did not realize that Joe Clyburn has no moral convictions. Thanks.
What else would you call it? He slams the previous administration for years demanding a withdrawal of all troops from Iraq, demanding a time line, constantly releasing the number of brave soldiers and Marines who gave their lives for our country implying that it's clearly not worth it. Then, once his guy is in office we need to move slowly and cautiously? I'd say that yes – the guy has moral conviction issues.
I really can't say much to this one. I'm just sitting here with my mouth open shaking my head. Bush is evil and Iraq is a huge mistake. That's all we've heard for 8 years, and now we have to put up with the Obamanation telling us that what he was doing was right. How do any of these "representatives" sleep at night. At this point nothing they say or do has anything to do with principle. They are just doing what is politically expedient.
