This is your chance to feel like a government bureaucrat…Update

…spend someone else’s money.

I learned today on Jim’s show that an anonymous donor will match all donations to the April 21 Lupus fundraiser, dollar for dollar, up to $25,000.

Whether you can attend the fundraiser or not, click here and make a donation.  Whether your donation is $1 or $100, or whatever you choose, when you do so,  you will feel just like an elected member of Congress…spending someone else’s money, to wit, the matching dollar from the anonymous donor.

No, unlike Congress,  you will not get a lapel pin or a leather chair, but you will know that your donation will help build a medical facility devoted to the treatment of auto-immune diseases.

And those with those diseases will know they have somewhere to turn.

Update:

Thanks to all of you for your generiosity.

But, we have less than 1 week to go, and, as of now, we have left some $9000 in the pocket of our anonymous donor.  This will not do.

Send this link to your friends who may never go to this blog.  Ask them to help in whatever amount they can.

We need a refuge for those in New England who suffer from auto-immune diseases.  A place they can turn to.

With your help we can build it.
