The President has summoned … Part Deux – CK responds: this is not a banana republic

Just a follow up to the SOS post from last night. I thought I would just show you the video and let you decide. Krauthammer chimes in on this as only he can. But on the left,  as you are about to see MSNBC disagrees. Why they positively euphoric. If only he could be dictator for a day.

First up the One’s command to come hither. Boys, I want to see you in my office!

And here’s MSNBC sub host Mike Smerconish. He actually elevates it way above “summoned”

Ordered? The President ordered Boehner to the WH? Oh how the left wishes we were “China for a day.” Finally, how about CK’s take on this? Why, not surprisingly, it’s the same as the SOS.

Listening this morning to Neil Cavuto I think it was Congressman Ron Paul who said if I were Boehner I would definitely show up late. Alas latest update shows everyone on time and all in session.

Good for them to be on time. At least they show respect for the Office of the President, if not for the President himself. Since Ron Paul was not summoned, he can say whatever he wants with no consequences.

      Agreed.

Now if only ?bama could show a little respect for the Congress, not to mention the country, we might have some progress.

So much for equal branches of Gov’t!? Our president is out-of-control on many issues from Libya, executive orders, spending, bail-outs which have turned into Obama’s stash for constituents and his next election…? And he is completely unchecked by the media- we have fascism.? All the scrutiny for Bachman’s migraines, Palin’s emails, Rupert Murdoch’s issues- and all things Obama are in the iron-clad-lockbox where our social security funds are kept.? And don’t forget the outrage about Valerie Plame being outed as a CIA analyst, hardly a peep about the 2 feds and 150+ Mexicans killed with Fast & Furious guns from Barack’s ATF.

Forget about “I’m the President”…more like, “I’m the principal.”

O’Bama has behaved so stupidly during these negotiations that Skip Gates invited Boehner over for a beer.

I would show up in a straw hat, Hawaiian shirt, flip-flops, and a Margarita in hand….After all, it is a Banana Republic.

More like a “slipped on a banana republic (and fell right on their butts)”!

Oh God, I can’t top you guys with a quip. So I’ll just say, George Washington in his infinite wisdom declined to be a King or be treated like one. He set the standard for Presidential conduct, mostly all have followed his lead. We now have our first King. Maybe France had the right idea in the French Revolution.
