OK. I know you think this is a joke. But it’s not. It’s called re-branding. You know, Newer, bigger, with special enzyme dirt fighting yada, yada, etc, etc. Again this is not a test. Watch the video for yourself.
Madam Speakah met with the press today to guarantee that the Bush tax cuts would be extended but just for the middle class … not for millionaires and billionaires or $200,000 aires either. But the middle class cuts put in place in 2001 and 2003 by George W Bush will be extended. And oh yes. They will henceforth be referred to as … well watch for yourself.

Of course MSNBC got the memo in advance. Here’s Chuck Todd on Hardball NBC News two days ago. But then they were calling them the “So called, Bush cuts.”

Here’s the problem. The number of Democrats who have lined up against raising taxes on upper incomes is beginning to grow in Congress. I think the number is over 30 now. But I’ll check that.

31 House Dems, and 5 Senators sent that letter to Pelosi about extending the Bush tax cuts.
"Extension of the Obama middle-income tax cuts"????? When in hell did THOSE happen? Is Pelosi certifiable? (And tax credits do not count)

When they were enacted, they were tax cuts. Now they are the current tax code. If any or all of them are allowed to expire, they become tax increases.
Ms. Pelosi, you get an "F".
After years of telling us about "the Bush tax cuts for the rich", now we find out that there is a rather significant proportion (the majority) of taxpayers that had their taxes cut as well. And now the Democrats have the gall to try and take credit for the tax cuts that they insisted should sunset in 2011?

They will do anything and everything to spin their agenda. I had predicted this months ago, before any "talking head" renamed the title, that their plan would be to pronounce the end of the "Bush tax cuts" because that has a positive ring to it (and we all know how nothing about Bush can be shown in a positive light); then repackage it as "Obama tax cuts". Excuse me but, what tax cuts are Obama's? They have always been Bush's and will always be Bush's.
What should we expect from a party where a former president scorns one of his own, posthumously, for failure to overhaul health care and receiving its credit.
Could you imagine if Bush had a direct email to the White House for submission of any electronic media which might not toe the Republican party line? I wish the Dems were as serious about about domestic terror as they are about domestic dissent! Hillary Klinton taught me that it was patriotic to question any administration!
A Bush tax cut is an orphan, but a newly renamed "Øbama tax cut" has many illegitimate fathers (and mothers).
