The Jim Vicevich Show – Monday morning at 10 a.m. ET
After a couple of weeks of research and planning, the Jim Vicevich Show kicks off right here on Radio Vice Online tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. ET.
We’ll be using the Blog Talk Radio infrastructure to deliver the show live from 10 a.m. to noon ET. Of course, the phone lines will be open for you to call into the show, and Jim will have guests through out the week.
Although we’ve been doing some private shows as a test, we’re certain Jim and the staff will be working out a few bugs in the system during the next week or so. The sound quality should be better than you expect – at least it was for me – and you’ll be able to hear sound bites, callers and guests easily.
So, head over to the Live page just before 10 a.m. to get warmed up. Jim’s really looking forward to talking to callers from around the country again.
The call in number – (347) 850-8472 – is not toll free (sorry about that), but you can call for free if you have a Skype account or if you have an unlimited cell phone or land line calling plan. Calls will be screened as normal, but we have a lot of lines, so if you call in and it keeps ringing, hang on, we’ll get you as soon as possible.
If you want to call in using Skype, simply head over to the Jim Vicevich show page on Blog Talk Radio and you’ll see a Click To Talk Skype button, but it will only display during the show. You can download Skype here.

Jim, Very excited about your new show. I've been glued to your website waiting for some kind of an announcement for all of us Radiovice-starved supporters out here, and this is great! Knew you'd land on your feet. All the best of luck and success with this new venture.
All right!!! Tomorrow can't come fast enough. Barb hasn't been the only one clue to the website. You have just demonstrated what freedom and capitalism is all about. You had an obstacle in your career and found a creative way around it (and without government help).

Congratulations on launching your own show your own way. Obama should be by any minute to make you take a government subsidy; to his way of thinking, no one should be able to start-up anything without his help (our money).
I, for one, have really missed your poignant commentaries and trenchant analysis of the Connecticut politics, left or right; your views on national happenings; and, your take on the national/world scene. You never let those lefty seminar callers get the better of you.
Prediction: your former employer will come crawling wanting you back . To paraphrase Mom, "Never speak ill of the competition, no matter how vapid he or she is." The truth is that only you can fill that time slot. Now don't be getting a big head there — it's just that you were and are appreciated as a professional radio host and commentator. Kudos to your sister and cohorts. Keep up fighting the good fight.
