The blank with the Supreme Court

As you know, today, the Supreme Court, by unanimous agreement, found that a key provision of the Arizona immigration law was, indeed, constitutional.  The administration was not pleased.  This from the Washington Times:

The Obama administration said Monday it is suspending existing agreements with Arizona police over enforcement of federal immigration laws, and said it has issued a directive telling federal authorities to decline many of the calls reporting illegal immigrants that the Homeland Security Department may get from Arizona police. [emphasis supplied]

So, Arizona police can stop and detain all they want, but the Department of Homeland Security will not cooperate.

It would seem that this administration believes that our Constitution and our Supreme Court are no more than inconvenient nuisances that can be easily avoided by executive fiat.

Abrogation of the law of the land (selective non-enforcement) has been Big Sis’ and Holder’s main way to circumvent not just the law but the will of the people. I find this utterly fascinating in a train-wreck sort of way. Am I stupid, or isn’t this illegal? ?

continuity–why should gov’t officials have to work for pay when so many others don’t? ? this is tantamount to the admin taking their ball and going home. ?what will our punishment be if o’care is not upheld??

i’m willing to start the popular groundswell calling for a return to the quaint practice of heads on pikes–equal opportunity for all offenders. . .and the list is getting pretty long. . .

It is increasingly obvious to me that this administration is a criminal regime and should be removed immediately.? They do not have the moral authority to legislate, they supply arms to our enemies (Fast and Furious) and therefore are guilty of treason.? Their disregard of the highest law of the land suggests that the Obama administration is criminally incompetent.

Why wait until November?? Get them out now.

I agree with SOS’s assessment that this president believes he can circumvent the Constitution by executive fiat. ?What I wonder is who or what is underwriting this arrogance, and wouldn’t this go to the question of our national sovereignty? ?It certainly goes to Arizona’s.

Reality check! We have to drag every living breathing voter to the Polls in November! If they are going to be away or can ‘t get away from work or college, they need an absentee ballot! ?I know, boring for me to write this! I never stopped being a cheerleader! Give me a R, give me an O…….

This is consistent with the pattern. The regime wishes to rule not govern. We got to get them out.

Oh and how they will scream if a Republican president chooses to use his/her discretion in prosecuting the “free riders” that don’t want to be dragged into socialized medicine.
