Out of everyone in Washington, the Tea Party members are the only ones who have kept (or tried to keep) the promises they made when getting elected.
Whoaaa! ?Sen. Grahamnesty the poster child of the?establishment?elite republicans is speaking like a Tea Party patriot? ?He is not even up for re-election until 2014? ?Sounds like he is starting to “get it.”
The blame game continues while the stock market tanks, the economy teeters. Both sides blew it, but it’s only my opinion.

It is party vs party instead of doing what is right for America and in turn the world.?? Someone needs to take a strong lead here and it should not be the stock markets, the Fed or the world bank.
Still wondering what Obama’s “plan” was as he criticized everything that was presented by Republicans.? Chaffetz was great yesterday…Democrats wouldn’t even read possible plans before nixing them.? But then again, what else is new?? What DO they read?
800 billion non-stimulus. A budget that got no votes in 2011. Two QE plans that only made gas prices higher cause oil is based on the U.S. dollar. A dem senate that wouldn’t let any plan come up for debate and hasn’t put out a budget in WHAT? over 800+ days. Apr 29, 2009. And it all the tea party’s fault cause say what they do and do what they say? It’s called conviction something lost in D.C.
Cutting spending w/o any consideration to increasing revenue is not the answer. Dow down 400 plus. Is the sky falling yet?
What was Obama’s plan again?? Oh, that’s right.? He didn’t have one…My bad.
Nor is increasing revenue with no consideration of cutting spending, or curtailing bad legislation designed to buy votes, as is the Democrat plan.
Sammy I don’t know if the sky is falling but the bottom is falling out. Everybody is on vacation and nobody is driving the car. I don’t know about you but I think?they should get their sorry butts back and get a plan together. I think doing that would show some stability and slow the crash.?They should stop blaming, stop finger pointing and just shut up and work.?
What you’re seeing now is a demonstration of why the jackass is the symbol of the Democrat Party. These clowns go onto talk shows braying and kicking at the TEA Party in a vain attempt to blame others for their dismal failure. The blame is theirs, even if Howard Dean’s culpability is mitigated by reason of mental defect. The blame also falls squarely on the boney shoulders of Bumpy Barack Hussein O’Bama ? the Party President, the Potted Plant President, the Burgers for Me but Not For Thee President, the I’m the President President, the Food Stamp President, and now the singular Down Grade President.

Lurch, the Screamer, and Hacksellrude can’t seem to comprehend that the Tea Party movement is not a political party but rather an expression of distrust, disgust, and dislike of all things deriving existence from taxes.? The establishment ruling class elitists of both parties need to be replaced, preferably by new congresscritters who have experience in the real world of producing things people can use, not just overpriced words.
I love how Rush just lines up the virtually identical soundbites from the Dems.? Clearly, someone sends out a talking point memo, and the Dems dutifully repeat it.

A.? Logic says you do not?need a law to apply common sense.??
B.? The Constitution sets the conditions for a balanced budget – for those whom have the guts to interpret it so as to maintain that?high standard of excellence.?

Why the S&P downgraded the Us:
“We have changed our assumption on this because the majority of Republicans in Congress continue to resist any measure that would raise revenues, a position we believe Congress reinforced by passing the act.”
What part of that statement don’t you understand?
The cherry-picked and misrepresented passage from the S&P downgrade report is easy to understand, especially when it’s read in context and not as presented by George Soros4 funded nutroots groups. That passage you cut and pasted refers to Standard & Poors’ projections on the net percentage of government debt to GDP if taxes aren’t raised. The republicans don’t have a majority in congress.? Simple math.? More of your democrat peeps voted for this deal than did republicans.

Spin nothing: ?bama and the Dems have had SOLE control of the economy since 1/21/09, and effectively sole control since 1/21/07.? If they had a better idea (like doing their jobs and passing the debt ceiling as they saw fit and presenting a Senate budget as they are legally obligated to do) they had ample opportunity to do it.

The singular fact to me, is that the Tea Party represents what the constituents want. Excuse me Howard Dean, but the Tea Party candidates ” are so powerful in the Primary” because the people voted for them in the Primary. Republicans are afraid of them, but it is because the Tea Party just showed them what baseless cowards they are (hopefully were).??

There were lots more of not cutting and paying down the debt in a reasonable fashion, and uncertainty of the cuts ever being done because of the outright partisanship. That was mentioned in the conclusion. Now I know that our public school education is under fire. But I learned to read. It is unfathomable to me that Liberals cannot read the document with the link Tim gave and I gave in another post, for themselves. Do you have to have a “journalist” read and interpret? everything for you and spin it until it’s a tangled mess.? I just hope there are enough intelligent readers in the US to figure out what S&P courageously and openly said.

There is no way that the Tea Party, and their supporters will fess-up to the fact: they had a negative influence. S&P and others were looking for spending cuts AND tax reform. What was passed was spending cuts, no tax reform and kicking the can down the road.
You mean the promise of spending cuts (their track record is bad here) and tax reform.? If the Dems had their way, the can would have been cannonballed down the road, and you know it.? The only thing that got in their way was the TEA party influence.? It was the run up in the deficit, driven by the Democrats these past four years, that caused the downgrade.
Also, let us not forget that S&P told Ryan that his budget would have prevented the downgrade.
Cap,Cut and Balance would have prevented a downgrade also. It would be nice if Reid would let things come up for debate and then they could vote no.
Really, Dims? Is the House controlled by the Repubs: yes or no? Are the Tea Partiers already trying to weasel out of what they voted for? As to Rep. Ryan’s budget and the Cap etc.?? EVERYBODY knew that neither had a chance of getting anywhere. They were already flushed down the toilet. So what good does it do to keep bringing these issues up? It’s like the balanced budget amendment: it will never see the light of day. Forget it. And, finally there was NO downgrade until last Fri. Why did S&P wait till last Fri to downgrade, why not do it anytime during the last 4 years?
1) yes, for the past seven months, Republicans controlled the House, not the Senate or the WH.? In that time, they had to consume their time doing the work the Dems didn’t want to: the budget, dealing with the credit limit etc.? If the Dems had a better idea, they had time to prove it.? They flat out didn’t.? Epic fail.

2) the effective budgets of Ryan et al. had no chance of passing because of DEMOCRAT intransigence, not estimations by the ratings houses or disagreement of the need by the voters.? Effective and needed controls were “flushed” by the Dems alone in a fit of Keynesian petulance.

3) there was no downgrade until last week because S&P finally, repeat, finally, decided that even with some conservative influence, the effectively Democrat control of the budget will produce insufficient positive effects.? Thanks entirely to Reid and ?bama,

There is no way that S&P believes that the exploding current debt/deficit is the responsibility of the recently elected Republicans.
Since bills aren’t going anywhere do you want the House to sit on their butts like the senate and do nothing? or do you want them to try. Reid could have brought them up and debated then let people vote or was he afraid they might actually pass and the credit would have gone to the House. If they passed then your President could use his veto but either way it was the socialist dems holding the country hostage.
As stated, the Repubs and the Tea Party are washing their hands of having any role in the debt issue.
You can’t wash off what you didn’t stick your hands into when the president assigns you to “the back of the bus”.
