President Obama held a press conference on friday, speaking of how the economy was doing. With those words, the President sought to assure African-Americans that he truly cared about them, and would do all he could to improve their lives. But, oftentimes, actions speak louder than words.
Coming on the heels of Chris Matthews’s recent comments about President Obama as reported by Steve here, an article in today’s Wall Street Journal is interesting. Secretary of State, Ken Bennett, has asked the state of Hawaii to confirm that the state has a valid birth certificate for President Obama. Arizona doesn’t want the certificate, just confirmation that it exists.

President Obama speaks frequently of “fairness”, and will beat that drum constantly during the upcoming election. This article appeared in today”s Wall Street Journal, and it is an absolute must read. In fact, print it out and use it when discussing the President’s view of fairness with your friends.
Today, President Obama killed the Keystone XL Pipeline. That project would have brought 700,000 barrels of crude oil a day from Canada to our gulf coast refineries to be processed. And brought us approximately 20,000 most needed jobs. But, the project has now been shelved, once again, until after the 2012 election.
Rather than wait for the bill to pass so I could see what is in it, I decided to spend some time reading President Obama’s proposal for job creation…you know, the one we have to pass now if we love him. You can find the full text of the bill here.
