I have read the United States Constitution on more than one occasion. I have read it just to read it. I have read it looking for specific information, and no where on that document does it say anything about government making life changing decisions on my behalf.
Here’s a video and a map provided by Fox News and meteorologist Rick Reichman. It shows the storm track going right through New York City but it also puts Connecticut on the wrong side of the storm, meaning the highest winds. If you watch no other video this morning please watch this.
Unbelievable. Brooklyn Assembly members Annette Robinson (D-Bedford Stuyvesant) and Darryl Towns (D-East New York), have put forth legislation that would require police officers – when a life is threatened – to shoot for arms or legs instead of center of mass. They mistakenly have replaced reality with a Hollywood movie.
Pathetic. Disturbing. Unreal. It’s already totally unacceptable the state of New Jersey severely restricts residents concerning their 2nd Amendment rights, but now a New Jersey state legislator suggests – for $500 per year – the state would reconsider their opinion. They think they can generate tax revenue through the scheme.
I was just reading this post over at WINS 1010 concerning Gov. David Paterson’s (D-N.Y.) problem with the unions after his plans might result in – God forbid – state employee layoffs. I noted the state employs 200,000 workers. Guess how many Ford Motor Company has?
