Liberal playbook 101 – GOP will throw seniors off a cliff … literally

Fear-mongering as usual. Neil Cavuto tries really hard to be nice during this interview and guide the direction of the conversation, but Erica Payne from the Agenda Project is not listening. Why can’t Payne and her troop just ask for what they really want … federal government supported entitlements for everyone with zero national defense.

Your Neil Cavuto moment: Wisconsin, in so many ways class dismissed

We haven’t had one of these in a while. Neil Cavuto on the teacher’s sick out in Wisconsin. Direct and pointed. “Class is dismissed … in very respect.” Read more

Another Neil Cavuto moment: There’s no more money

If Neil is anything, he is consistent. He hated TARP and railed against it. He hated the bailout, and railed against that. And as the spending piled up, he pushed back with, “It is, it’s taxpayer’s money.” Now we can add this one to our growing Cavuto file. Read more

Cavuto on Brown, Obama and pickup trucks – Off his rocker

Not to mention out of touch. I’ve heard Neil go crazy on this administration before but mostly for good sound economic reasons. You know, “It’s not your money.” But this is the first time I have seen him go after this administration for being, ummm, elitist. Read more

Listen up ladies … it’s good advice and funny too. Your  Christmas chuckle.

Cavuto moment: “Blue Dogs” are crazy scared

Suddenly after yesterday’s elections the Pelosi Health Care Bill seems less certain.

While the White House and party leaders are urging calm, Democratic incumbents from red states and Republican-leaning districts are anything but; Tuesday’s statehouse defeats have left them acutely aware that their votes on health care reform and other major Obama initiatives could be career-enders in 2010 or beyond.

“I should be nervous,” said Rep. Parker Griffith, a freshman Democrat from Huntsville, Ala.

NY 23 aside ( what a mess, and the Republicans have no one to blame except themselves), Neil Cavuto thinks NJ and VA sent shock waves through the hearts and minds of Democrats in red districts. Maybe more. Is Neil right?

Add to Tuesday’s results, today’s Health Care rally in DC and we may be looking at a climax in the fight against this crummy health care bill. I wonder … but I still worry. And here’s why.

House Democratic leaders, undeterred by delays in the Senate or this week’s Republican electoral triumphs, plan to call a vote Saturday on the most sweeping overhaul of U.S. health-care policy in four decades.

The House will move on the $1.05 trillion legislation that would cover 36 million uninsured people and create a government plan to compete with private insurers even after the election of Republican governors in New Jersey and Virginia. PresidentBarack Obama will go to Capitol Hill tomorrow to meet with House Democrats, as they seek the 218 votes they need to pass the bill, a Democratic leadership aide said.

I worry … my mom worries.

Health Care Penalty – Jail Time … so be it

Nancy Skinner is a Democratic Strategist and I now Democrats are warm and fuzzy. They care. That’s why they get elected. But tell me please, how is sending someone to jail because they choose not to buy health insurance warm and fuzzy? This is the party of the people.

First the proposed piece of legislation:

There’s a popular video circulating on the ‘net right now about how to escape handcuffs without using a key. Americans are watching the video to bone up on essential skills that will soon be needed for health care reform, it seems, since the new laws that are about to be put in place call for Americans to be arrested and thrown in jail if they refuse to buy health insurance.

This has now been confirmed by Tom Barthold, the Chief of Staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation. And it’s not merely about jail time; it’s also about the $25,000 fine that could be levied by the IRS against individuals who refuse to buy health insurance.

Skinner says its appropriate … Cavuto says, “You’re crazy.”

Your Neil Cavuto moment – Barney Frank

I could give you a bit of the interview Cavuto did … but why bother? Neil’s commentary at the end of the show is far more entertaining and far more revealing about Barney Frank … rude and disrespectful to his constituents. Come to think of it … it’s really become the Democrat mantra hasn’t it? And why not? In the Bay State he has set up the strangest geographical district ever created to assure a safe seat. Says Cavuto, “I thought I stunk …. as it turns out, everyone stinks.” Enjoy!

Viral e-mail author meets Cavuto

You’ve seen the e-mail from the former Proctor and Gamble executive Lou Prichett …. the “Obama, you scare me” e-mail.

AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA
Dear President Obama:
You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.
You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.
You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education an  your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.
You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.
You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

There’s more … just google search. Now meet the man.

By the way … here’s the last line in that e-mail:

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

The guy, I think, has some cashews, eh?

White House to Cavuto: You are not a financial show

We detailed in this post yesterday how the White House snubbed Cavuto’s show, while making an appearance on most other networks. Now … Cavuto can’t even get Larry Summers. Larry Summers? Cavuto uses the opportunity to explain to the young President the size of the audience he is missing … and then asks … “What you so afraid if buddy?”. Pay particular attention to all of the clips where Obama takes a whack at Fox. Classic Cavuto.
