Yup, that’s right. After spending months ensuring the American people the health care individual mandate is certainly not a tax, the Obama administration’s Department of Justice has gone to court in defense of their mandate, arguing the mandate is a tax.

All across the United States, health insurance companies like Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Connecticut are meeting with state insurance regulators about premiums. During the past couple of weeks, Anthem proved to Connecticut state regulators an average 18 percent premium increase reflected the requirements of federal health care mandates and increased provider costs.
Trouble in paradise? Is this just the begnning of state and city blowback on the Nelson payoff. Hmmmm? Is it? The countries two best know Republican liberals are already pushing back against the Senate/ House/ Obama Health bill that they know will cost them plenty. Period.
It’s the economy, it’s company restructuring, it’s Obamacare. Companies are reducing the hours of part-time employees as a result of changing business conditions. It’s not exclusively about Obamacare, but for the administration to claim the so-called Affordable Health Care Act is not partially responsible for any of it is pretty ridiculous.
Why, just tell me why, the federal government feels the need to inject themselves into this issue? Can’t the public pool management just have a simple conversation with the people or families who need access to the pool and work it out?
