Let’s accept reality here. Gun-control-supporting politicians don’t care about the details from Newtown, they just want to get rid of as many guns as possible since they hate guns and hate gun owners. They do this because that is how they are programmed … they must do something, even when the something they do does…
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) really is fearless when it comes to taking on the old-guard senators on the left. Although Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) never really answers the question posed by Cruz, she did mention Heller a couple of times.

Since my original post on the subject was long, corrected and updated multiple times – confusing even me – I needed to write a shorter post to clarify. I made a solid effort to update the orignal, but here’s the needed follow up.
Incrementalism. If the Newtown shooter had murdered 20 young children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary using a handgun, would the gun-control politicians and talking heads be demanding a handgun ban? People keep telling me handguns will not be banned, but they are not only on the “secret” list, it’s openly being discussed.
