Showdown in Wisconsin. Dems already squealing UPDATE:Walker holding?

If you’re looking for live updates, you can find them over at Powerlineblog

It’s hard to overstate the importance of this recall. Actually the 3rd the Democrats have held since the 2010 election. Never mind we already have a process in place by which voters a can remove an elected official, which depending on the office it’s every two, four, or six years. The unions see their grasp on public funds slipping in all but the bluest of states(no worries Connecticut) and so the fight to get Walker, the Lt Gov found four State Senators.

The young President’s health care plan is so unpopular and economy so bad that were it possible, he would face a recall. But ours is not a parliamentary system, at least it’s not supposed to be.

But have no fear my little mobsters, even if Walker wins the Dems are already screaming foul, setting up a challenge.

With only about four hours into the Election Day voting, members of the Milwaukee Democratic Party claim that calls are going out to voters telling them if they’d signed the recall, they didn’t need to vote today.

Milwaukee County Dem Chair Sachin Chheda said that Walker supporters can’t get through the day without “cheating.”

“This latest lowlife sleaze comes on the heels of countless reports from around the state of various Republican dirty tricks on behalf of Walker,” Chheda said in a statement. “For instance, reports surfaced last weekend that Walker supporters are paying homeowners to post Walker signs on their lawns.”

A state GOP source dismissed the claims, saying it was expected from Dems who have made voter suppression claims part of their playbook.

Meanwhile our good friend John Hayward says there’s plenty of proof the other side is trying to fraud up.

Meanwhile, Fox News spotlights an eyewitness account of organized Democrat vote fraud, delivered on a radio talk show, in which a caller describes “Greyhound-size buses, filled to capacity” with Michigan Democrats, recruited from a labor union and shipped into Wisconsin to illegally vote against Walker. The caller infiltrated one of the buses, and called radio host Chris Plante sotto voce from the road. The spy claimed organizers handed out “a lot of freebies” and fed him lunch, although he didn’t say what he ate, or whether it was prepared by unionized food service technicians.

Make no mistake the public sector unions have a lot at stake here. This stance for fiscal responsibility in state government is spreading nationwide. Expect the public sector unions to keep up the fight

UPDATE:Drudge reporting exit polls show Walker holding seat. But no link yet?

UPDATE 2: Apparently TRS is reporting just no way to verify the call claiming Union cheating. TRS says better to dismiss it for now.
