Summer of Recovery

Just two short years ago, seems longer to me, the Obama administration hailed
that it was to be “The Summer of Recovery”.   The stimulus bill was passed by congress, both the house and senate, of course it was alL under the control of the Democrats.

WILD and EXOTIC claims were made that this new law would spur the creation of
250,000 – 500,000 new jobs per month.   Vice President Joe Biden boldly  predicted this type of
job growth himself. Well it has been two years since the passage of the stimulus bill, and Americans are still waiting. Read more

Congressional deficit reduction task force – plan due after midterm election

Continuing in the spirit of federal government transparency, Congress authorized creation of a deficit reduction task force this week that will meet privately through the end of 2010. Suggestions and trial balloons will begin to leak in January 2011 to ensure task force ideas would not become fodder of political campaigns.

Running through last night’s video and I came across a continuing theme throughout … Democrats and RINOs trying to frighten America to death … a financial death of $1 Trillion dollars (pay no attention to the deal … it will be a trillion I can assure you).

Even if you believe it will get worse (and that seems to be likely) the question you need to ask is … will this stimulus help the private sector where the jobs are lost … your job is lost … or just save public works jobs?

And what good is a public sector job without a healthy private sector … hmmmm? Just askin, that’s all.
