Hat tip to Phineas at Sister Toldjah. In short, President Obama and the Democrats promised to look at and reduce overwhelming federal regulations, but they keep writing new ones every friggin’ day.
This is a perfect example of Democrats reaching out with obvious solutions that everyone should agree on. Hah! Again, they attempt to treat a symptom, but do nothing at all to cure the disease.
Really, where do these Democrats get off targeting one specific industry as evil and unreasonable since they – by some arbitrary decree – think the industry makes too much money?
I don’t blame them if some of the answers were confrontational. This attack on big oil profits with Congress-critters spouting off crap like “don’t you think it’s better to give kids education grants instead of giving you profit” is unmistakably stupid. I’m sick of these attacks.
The whack-job used the word ‘appeasement” concerning Democrat’s willing to buckle to the pressure of the almighty Republicans in Congress. That’s just friggin’ hilarious since the Executive Branch and Congress was willing to bypass normal rules to mandate what they could during the past two years.
