The Sound Off Music Festival House Show tickets are now available. This year’s show features food and drink courtesy of Metro Bis in Simsbury, and musical entertainment by The Carrie Johnson Band, and Cadillac Sky. The event is scheduled for July 24 in Canton and only 120 tickets will be available.
The House Show supports the Sgt. Felix M. Del Greco, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund. Assigned to 1st Battalion, 102nd Infantry, Army National Guard, New Haven, Conn, Felix was killed April 9, 2004 when an improvised explosive devise and small-arms fire struck his mounted patrol in Baghdad.
All net proceeds go to the scholarship fund. Felix’s dad has been running a golf tournament every year since then and thanks to the generosity of past tournament participants and donors, more than $51,000 has been collected!
I’ve learned not to guarantee, but I can be pretty certain of this … by buying a ticket you will be helping a great cause … and you will have the “foot stompin” time of your life.
Cadillac Sky is back for a one-time exclusive engagement for the Sound Off Music Festival House Show. Some call their music Blue Grass on steroids … some call it rock with a bass and fiddle instead of drums and a lead guitar … you will call it an unforgettable experience.
C-Sky has a unique EP available – Weary Angle – for only $5, and you can buy their albums and other cool stuff at their Web site.
I saw them in Atlanta where they packed in 250 people at Eddie’s Attic and had to turn people away. Folks, this is really unprecedented and quite a treat. Cadillac Sky stole the show last year … and now out with a new CD … this promises to be the best house show ever.
Artists will be available for autographs and will have CDs – and probably plenty of other stuff – available for purchase at the House Show.
Remember last year’s house show sold out in 10 days … do not miss out … do not … Just 120 tickets … no tickets at the door!
For 2009, there will only be a House Show event. For more information, visit the Sound Off Summer Music Festival Web site.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and drinks and Carrie hits the stage at 6:30. Cadillac Sky headlines at 7:30 and the show should be over by 8:45. This is an intimate evening that will wrap up by 9.
Tickets for the House Show are $60 and go on sale at noon ET on June 30.
