Arnold Dean made sportstalk radio what it is in CT. RIP.
When just this past Saturday I first heard of the sad passing of this Arnold Dean, I was shocked. Truly he was, is, and will always forever be a LEGENDARY public figure in local CT sports. He was like a fact book about sports. RIP Arnold “The Dean of Sports” Dean.
One memory I do have of Arnold Dean is being able to listen and watch him “live” at Rentcheler Field at the famous WTIC AM doghouse before the home UConn football team games. Arnold Dean in his presentation was as smooth as the first cup of coffee, never a shouter and very well organized. He will truly be missed.?
