Jim, when I had seen that video, I could not believe my eyes! Are we now treat PBO as a King?

The media have been bowing to him for a long time now.  No surprise to me.  However, when they start kissing his ring, I will worry.

Well, they have been kissing his ass since his first national speech, I guess the ring is just a natural progression…I am sure the CNN or MSNBC news readers would have humped his leg!

I wonder what would've been said if this was a Fox reporter doing that after interviewing George W. Bush.

Well, Tom "raise the gas price to $4" Brokaw would have been on his knees, so I guess this is a small improvement!

Or is Williams that much taller than Obama?  LOL!

I think you are out of line here. I didn't see big of bow. Williams was just showing our country's president some respect. I think this is just more of your put down Obama for anything garbage. You seem to hate our goverment, president, and country.

A simple shake of the hand is good enough in showing "respect" for the President. You do not need to treat him like royalty.

    • Steve McGough on June 3, 2009 at 7:47 am

Uhh… so you admit that he was showing President Obama respect by bowing to him? Jim does not hate "our government, president, and country" and I'm not quite certain where that came from. Wishing that Obama does not succeed in his plan to ensure that the federal government grows and grows while future generations drown in debt is not hate.

Since the 1930s, the federal government has simply been getting involved in things they are not authorized to do. And when they do get involved, they have failed over and over. (War on drugs, war on poverty, health care, education…) Now they want to get involved with making cars, taking more control over health care and spending "stimulus" cash on hiring cops and paying their salary for one year – after which they will be laid off since the locals can't pay them! ARRGGGGG!

      Steve,

How does Jim not hate a President who is trying to destroy our country.

It must come from the strength of his Christianity.God bless Jim.

If I may: you don't know jack, Jack.  Our elected "representatives" are not royalty or gods, regardless of how they think of themselves.  Did Williams ever make a similar move towards President Bush?  I will save you the trouble: no, he didn't.

"Hate our government, president and country?"  Read any posts in liberal blogs during the Bush years?  Go back and take a look.  Get back to us.

We hate what the Obamateur is doing to our government, president and country.  Go read the post titled "Political de-prosecution" for a taste of the future, Jack.

Journalistic integrity.  Where have you gone?

Now Brian's smear against Palin immediately after her acceptance speech makes sense. Now I will buy a copy of the How Obama Won the Election and Palin was Smeared video.

But, I'll go see Beck tomorrow to get into the mood.  We have to have our sense of humor around us.

This just goes to show Brian's true feelings…it was instinctual for him to bow…giving you an idea of how he views Obama.  Since when do we bow to an American president???
