Reporters ask for DNA evidence from Palin

I really would like to know. It’s one thing for Steve Schmidt from the McCain camp to complain about the questions being asked, but let’s go one step further and demand to know who is asking the questions.

Howard Kurtz has the article that everyone is talking about this morning.

In an extraordinary and emotional interview, Steve Schmidt said his campaign feels “under siege” by wave after wave of news inquiries that have questioned whether Palin is really the mother of a 4-month-old baby, whether her amniotic fluid had been tested and whether she would submit to a DNA test to establish the child’s parentage.

All based on rumors I guess?

How do woman voters feel about this? Why would any mother want to run for national political office when you see the liberal attack machine going after Sarah Palin like a pack of wild dogs.

If you’re wondering about the glass ceiling, you just found out who has installed, strengthened and continues to maintain the roof.

    I am a 56 year old grandmother, I am a political junkie, I am not, and have never been, a feminist.  I guess I like having a door opened for me too much to subscribe to that mindset.  🙂  I wrote my daughter last evening a quick note saying I had been told by my Granny that I could 'be anything I wanted, even POTUS, but I never really believed it.  And that I had no doubt said that to her on occasion, still not really believing it.  But my two granddaughters….ah, should this woman get elected (as I think they will) then what an example for these two girls who are the air that I breathe these days!  The 'ceiling' would be shattered and they really could do anything!  This morning, as I watch and read what is being done to Gov. Palin and her family I have to ask….why in the world would anyone, particularly a woman, want to go through this?  It is despicable what the MSM is doing and my heart goes out to her and her whole family.  Talk about a mackdown and being put back in your 'place'.  Just where are all these 'feminists' who protest for equal rights?  Where is the outrage?  Test her DNA???  Outrageous!

    @Dustoffmom:
    Thanks for your comments. The feminists are not tasked with protecting women, they are tasked to protect liberal women.

    This attack is very similar to what Judge Thomas went through during his SCOTUS hearings.

    Let the Heathens rage. Reporter jerk asks for DNA test, releases her SSN, smears her family for one reason and one alone: Their Left Wing Deity, He Who Is Who He Is, The Anointed One is slipping. Their rather pathetic self importance is in danger. We riff raft are restless! It energizes our base; it got me interested again.
    Let the Heathens rage.

    Let me get this straight: they demand the DNA of Palin and her child, but accept Obama's one page health history as sufficient?  And let us not forget how they completely ignored questions about Clinton's (Bill) health and his refusal to release his medical records.

    Talk about intimidating women!  Was Hillary asked to prove Chelsea is hers, given the rumors of a Webb Hubbel love child?  Is Michelle Obama now submitting to a cheek swab to prove that she is the mother of her two daughters?
