Red Cross doctor beheaded in Pakistan

This is what the Taliban and militants in Pakistan have been up to … kidnapping muslim physicians who are work for the Red Cross, demanding ransom, and beheading them if they don’t get the cash.

From the UK Guardian.

The beheaded corpse of a British aid worker has been discovered in the Pakistani city of Quetta, almost four months after he was kidnapped.

The body of Khalil Rasjed Dale was left on a road outside the city, in southern Baluchistan province, with a note attached which said he had been killed because a ransom had not been paid to his captors.

Dale, who had been working for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), was kidnapped in January while driving near the organisation’s Quetta office.

One has to ask why militant groups in Pakistan pull this crap. As of the news today, there is no indication Dale was doing anything other than providing medical aid while working for the Red Cross … and maybe that’s why he was targeted. I don’t think it’s about money and funding for these terrorists, it’s about terrorism.

The ICRC website has the following.

Khalil worked for the ICRC and the British Red Cross for many years, carrying out assignments in Somalia, Afghanistan and Iraq. He had been working as a health-programme manager in Quetta/Balochistan for almost a year. At about 1 p.m. on 5 January 2012, he was abducted by unidentified armed men while returning home from work.

The Taliban is a terrorist group. Before the? Obama Regime, we didn’t negotiate with terrorists.
This is what these terrorists do: kill, rape, rob and plunder. Kidnapping for ransom is what these people do. We are stupid to have anything to do with them.
