Powell … Republican Vision

I am posting this video more to to get discussion started. The former Secretary of State says he supported Obama because he was best qualified. That deserved a follow up and one was not forthcoming. Really? And what made him best qualified … speaking as a Republican of course. Hmmmmm.

So here’s the discussion. the General says the Republicans need to be more inclusive. I agree … but that does not mean adopting the Democrats big government principles … otherwise … I am out … what about you? What do you think. Take the poll … leave a comment.

The General was mad at Bush along with 52.9% of the American people (popular vote), that is why he voted for Obama!  Instead of helping to strenghten his party.  He made his choice, time to move on.

You can't be a Republican by imitating a Democrat.  People don't like imitations, and the Democrats are infinitely better at being Democrats that Republicans could ever wish to be.  Powell should ask himself why Democrats win by pretending to incorporate Republican ideals, and Republicans lose at trying to be Democrats.

Just wait, let the Democrat Party self destruct (which it seems to be doing at an amazing pace), and be ready to pick up the pieces.  I just hope there aren't more pieces than Republicans.

This is how it rolls. You stray once and you are cast out, Cheney is upset that Powell spoke his mind and didn't tow the party line.  Powell did what he thought was in the best interest of the country. I applaud him for that. He may or may not have been wrong, but last election we got to choose between dumb and dumber and he went with the guy that he though was better. He may or may not have been wrong about it. To be honest about it I don't think that things would be too much different with McCain in there.

Powell endorsed Obama in the 2008 Presidential Election.  He still endorses Obama and yet he says he is a Republican.  Powell is in league with Obama and his Guard and this is nothing more than a way to keep America still questioning the RNC and its instability.  Why would Powell as a Republican ever support a Marxist unless he was part of the plan?  He was on the weekend Network News Programs discrediting Cheney and Limbaugh and who is to gain from this?  Obama does for Cheney and Limbaugh are the only two I have seen on a National front who have the guts to challenge the President.   All Powell did was try to set us back 3 more paces and that is not a deed that any true Republican would endeavor.

Look for Powell to be Obama's New Internet Czar coming to a Theatre near you soon!
