Peter Schiff at Occupy Wall Street

It’s kind of fun to watch some of the responses from the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) crowd as a good number of them seem to be off the wall, but to be fair, there are many protestors who have serious questions. Peter Schiff thinks the movement is getting a bad rap, and attempts to redirect their frustration to where it belongs.

Maybe they protesters will consider changing their marketing from OWS to OWB – Occupy Washington Beltway. That’s the position Schiff takes during his visit to New York’s Zuccotti Park. Reason TV puts the video together. The video is upwards of 19 minutes long, so why not watch it now before the big radio show starts at 9 a.m. ET?

From Reason…

Schiff describes himself as “sympathetic” to the plight of the OWS protesters, but thinks their anger is misdirected at legitimate business interests and should be better at the White House, Congress, the Federal Reserve, and the crony capitalists they’ve bailed out.

Once again, the last refuge of a useful idiot is calling their opponent a “fool” or an “idiot” in a debate as a way of ending it.
    ?
The fool is wearing the fool’s mask, it seems.?? He didn’t want to hear Schiff’s responses, only spew out his talking points.?? That guy in the mask had no argument, only talking points, hence the slavery reference at the beginning, the “board of education” remark, then his final ad hominem attack when his arguments ran dry.

I agree.? They have no argument so it frustrates them.? Their only solution for their frustration is to attack in anger.? They are closed minded and not even willing to listen.?

One questions that should be asked in any of these videos is…? “Why have none of the Bankers involved in the crash gone to jail?’? The answer is because they did not break the law.? So if a law is not broken and people are angry with the results of businesses acting within the law, who is to blame?

You can’t have an intelligent conversation with an ignorant D-bagger OWS fool. ;?)

Was the person indicative of the whole group? Or was this their best and brightest member?
Whatever, Peter just wasted his time. Maybe the piece will serve as a historical reference for future scholars.
Enough OWS — I thought that the city (NYC) was going to throw the bums out?

Bravo to Peter who tried to use reason.? However, speaking to an unreasonable person is futile.? Remember? ” a mind is a terrible thing to waste”.
