Paul Ryan: I don’t think Obama wants to cut spending. I think he wants to raise taxes

Paul Ryan is not in on the negotiations but as chairman of the House Budget Committee he’s in the loop and if he doesn’t know what Obama wants, my guess is no one does. A revealing conversation with Gretta Van Susteren on the impending “deal or no deal”. Want to know why there’s been no compromise, then take a moment to watch.

I understand there are two sides to every story but it’s pretty clear from this interview, and the following one with Democrat Chris Van Hollen that Obama’s leading from behind. As the SOS points out here, The One says publically he wants cuts, but privately there’s a long list of untouchables, which explains why the cut figure keeps changing … leading Ryan to one conclusion. The money line comes at 1:15.

Van Hollen without saying so, pretty much confirms Ryan’s suspicions … the untouchables … well except for one thing. Can you guess where Democrats want to cut big?

$4 trillion? Like what? $2 trillion? As in? There has been no deal. Obama wants tax increases. And forget the corporate jet thing. Ryan’s budget eliminated those loopholes in his plan months ago … and besides … that loophole was put in the code by …. yes my little mobsters … Democrats.

I love Paul Ryan, he is such a gentleman.? Paul really wants to say ” I KNOW Obama wants to cut spending, I KNOW he wants to raise taxes. Obama is a lying SOB.” Don’t worry we can read between the lines, Paul.

crystal, it was a direct quote by Obama (80% of Americans want tax hikes) last week. Perhaps I should stop with the irony!!!!!

Lynn, it should be “Congress? Sticky FINGERS.”? Speaking of which, the outgoing Portuguese government (socialist) apparently ordered that everything on their work computers be erased!? It has subsequently been learned that they lied about the country’s accounts, and Portugal’s debt problems are a lot worse.? As one headline reads: Where’s the Money?
