On Sex-Ed Ad, McCain Is Right

It is what it is. The Obama camp and his media defenders have been battering the McCain camp for its ad about Obama supporting a bill that “would teach sex education to students as young as kindergarten age” (Illinois Senate Bill 99). Untrue says the Obama camp … the bill just addressed inappropriate touching … umm not quite … and it appears McCain was right.

The fact is, the bill’s intention was to mandate sex education, especially concerning contraception and the prevention of sexually-transmitted diseases, for children before the sixth grade and as early as kindergarten. Obama’s defenders may howl, but the bill is what it is.

A good analysis of the bill. Read the whole thing.
