ObamaCare unconstitutional – Obama demands states follow law anyway

When Democrats “win” and get a judge to toss out legislation or a state referendum because the judge says it is unconstitutional, everything stops. Democrats demand things immediately change and people either stop what they were doing, or they should be allowed to do what they want to do. But when a judge rules ObamaCare unconstitutional …

…the Obama administration goes out and demands the judge – who deemed the entire law unconstitutional – tell the states they have to obey the law anyway. From Ed Morrissey at Hot Air.

Last month, a federal judge in Florida struck down ObamaCare in its entirety due to the unconstitutional nature of its individual mandate and lack of severability.  The ruling technically freed 26 states from compliance on ObamaCare, at least until an appeal is heard at either the 11th Circuit or Supreme Court.  Last night, however, the Obama administration asked Judge Roger Vinson to please tell all of the states to comply with the law he just threw out.

Yeah, the rules apply to the progressive agenda not so much…

The new rule of America: do as I say, to hell with the law. This is absolutely the most treasonous move he has made in, well, a few days….

There has to be someone out there with enough backbone to call him what he is, call him up on his treasonous ruling, start putting a stop to America going down the drain. Some one please, plug the drain before we are all caught in the whirlpool.

    It is the Chicago way.

Also, see Saul Alinsky, "Rules for Radicals" Rule 4: Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. “You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.”

Implied in this is that progressives don't have to live up to any rules, not even the Constitution.

Great news about Obamacare here in Alabama. The pre-existing insurance plan which was one of the major selling points of the healthcare coup has signed up … 61 people! The main reason? It’s too expensive! I looked into it, and it’s more than twice the cost of the open enrollment plan I have through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama. That’s right. I was able to sign up for insurance with a pre-existing condition way back in 2006. I did have to wait 12 months for anything associated with the pre-existing condition to be covered, but Uncle Obama’s insurance plan is only available to those without insurance at least 12 months anyway so its enrollees would not have been covered for anything. So not only is Obamacare unconstitutional. Its coverage plans are too expensive!
