Obama: Bloom off the rose … continuuuuuuued

When you lose the left … what’s left? A couple of great bites but also some great insight from the left and right on the continued disenchantment with the young President, from Jack Cafferty and Charles Krauthammer.Obama’s approval rating is sinking. 54% disapprove on Rasmussen and 47% in the latest Gallup. Not hard for me to understand. A trillion dollars that didn’t stimulate the economy. See the latest jobs numbers. A health care bill that so far promises nothing more than increased costs and still no health care. And an oil spill that grows worse every day and no sign of leadership in sight. See Bobby Jindal.

Tie it all together and the President who promised to turn back the seas … is finding that he can’t really do what the real Messiah can. Cafferty asks the relevant question.

BUT … it’s Krauthammer who adds the necessary perspective. Be careful what you promise. Be careful the image you build.

Any successful businessman knows you must under promise … and over perform. But then, he never managed anything before so how would he know.

Unfortunately we're dealing with serveral generations of people (myself included) who have been raised under the notion that there is still a mountain of prosperity, resources, and wealth to be had in this country, and the world. There is, I'm sure, but somehow instead of working long and hard for it, we've fostered this mentality that a select few should perform the "grunt work" while the rest sit back and leech off of those people's hard work. Politicians used to listen to their people and work to better their lives, now they listen to special interests and work to better their careers at our expense, and the only people who benefit from their work are those who are completely and utterly unwilling to even bother working for the sake of this country, instead leeching off of it like a virus. I like to think social services benefit those who really need it, but I still think welfare is the cancer that is killing our great nation. Not even Obama can save that, though it would have been nice to see him try.

Delta is right: it is the producers (hosts) vs. the parasites.  Unfortunately, the human parasites are determined to kill the hosts, as they have been mislead and miseducated, remaining ignorant of what built this country and made it great.  In other words, the infiltration of the educational system by liberals has been designed to produce generations of, well, Democrats!

With this presidency, the Democrats tried to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

    Didn't work….
