Obama administration knew Benghazi was target for terror attack
CBS News revisited the Benghazi terrorist attack last night on 60 Minutes.

Contrary to the White House’s public statements, which were still being made a full week later, it’s now well established that the Americans were attacked by al Qaeda in a well-planned assault.
Five months before that night, Morgan Jones [pseudonym] first arrived in Benghazi, in eastern Libya about 400 miles from the capital, Tripoli.
He thought this would be an easy assignment compared to Afghanistan and Iraq. But on his first drive through Benghazi, he noticed the black flags of al Qaeda flying openly in the streets and he grew concerned about the guard forces as soon as he pulled up to the U.S. compound.
Green Beret Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Andy Wood describes how al Qaeda made plans for attacks well-known to everyone. He speaks of their attack cycle.
The last time he [Wood] went to Benghazi was in June, just three months before the attack. While he was there, al Qaeda tried to assassinate the British ambassador. Wood says, to him, it came as no surprise because al Qaeda — using a familiar tactic — had stated their intent in an online posting, saying they would attack the Red Cross, the British and then the Americans in Benghazi.
Wood was there and watched as al Qaeda attacked the Red Cross and the British. He knew the attack on the Americans was next. He told the Obama administration it was next on their list.
Andy Wood: … They made good on two out of the three promises. It was a matter of time till they captured the third one.
Lara Logan: And Washington was aware of that?
Andy Wood: They knew we monitored it. We included that in our reports to both State Department and DOD.
Andy Wood told us he raised his concerns directly with Amb. Stevens three months before the U.S. compound was overrun.
Andy Wood: I made it known in a country team meeting, “You are gonna get attacked. You are gonna get attacked in Benghazi. It’s gonna happen. You need to change your security profile.”

Of course after you read this, you have to ask how the heck did the administration think they could sell this as a random, unplanned attack associated with the release of a video nobody saw. Heads. In. Sand.

Why worry our security is in the capable hands of ?Barack (we got Al Queda on the run and I got Bin Laden) Obama and Hillary (it was a video and what difference does it make ) Clinton.?
“What difference, at this point in time, does it make?”?? Well, getting this out a year before the elections tends to reinforce that statement.? Hillary can say it is “old news” and she has already dealt with it, and it is time to “move on”.

I always worry about that. Does it mean POTUS will just make some executive orders while we aren’t looking. It is impossible not to blink. We can’t let our guard down for one minute, and we need some relief. We need to throw out the entrenched regardless of their party. Sen. McCain, Sen. Lindsey Graham and the entire CT delegation, that means You.
Not heads in sand, feckless incompetence.
The Benghazi attack didn’t fit into what Barry had publicly said that he had taken care of the pesky terrorist problems and personally killed OBL.
Once Barry had said that, no one in the regime wanted to refute him. If Barry said it, it has to be so.
Obama is surrounded by Yes Men. Sycophants. If anyone disagrees with him, they are out. Just skip the intelligence briefings and head to the golf course. Plan another vacation, attend another fundraiser, spin the narrative. Blame Bush.
