Matthews to Tea Party: I’ve waited all my life for this kind of fire

It’s just he thought it would come from the left and not the center/right. It’s a pretty nice analysis and my guess is Olby won’t be happy. Matthews isn’t saying Republicans will win because of the grass roots fire in the belly, he’s just saying he admires it? You tell me.

Here’s his last word from last night: “While others [progressives] were seeing dead people that defeated Mike Castle … I saw the strength of the flames that consumed him and will consume many others this rapidly approaching election night.” There’s more. Watch it all.

This is one of the reasons my family used to like watching Chris. He’s a “gut feeling” “full of emotion” kind of commentator and that’s why you often get comments like “thrill up the leg” (silly), and calling fundamentalists “troglodytes” (really silly). It’s why I like him and watch him. Not because I agree with him, but because he is passionate and … come on, he is fun to watch.

There’s no more spin from Matthews like you might get from the rest of the MSNBC crew, or even Fox if the political shoe were on the other foot. Matthews sees what’s happening and he’s willing to report it. Now, if only the Republican establishment could understand what’s happening.

Matthews is the first lefty to understand that the Tea Party is not full of racists and red necks, just filled with thoughtful, middle class moderates that are angry as hell and are tired of being represented by elitists. But I still can't watch him, I prefer the nerdy Cavuto!
