Manhattan Madam runs for NY Governor

Kristin Davis, 34, announced her bid for Governor of New York. Kristin, as you may remember, supplied former NY Governor Eliot Spitzer with “girls”, prostitutes, ummm, hookers. It was her business. Now she says she will run for Governor because, well, how could she do any worse.

Her platform to help the empire state return to glory … P2. Legalize prostitution and pot. Victimless? This my friends, would be a large “L” libertarian.

Changing the Empire State into the Empire Lounge is not all that revolutionary. Trading  johns  for ho's is more of the same  business as usual. What NY really needs is Travis the Taxi Driver who can unplug the drain and flush out the sewer.

The difference between the oldest profession and the 2nd oldest…. One is honest, the other is a politician.

(Credit where credit is due: I heard Jim use this term in another context this morning.)  Apparently, we have a well established third political party firmly in place,  Sadly, many citizens who thought they were voting the Democrat ticket were misled, and cast their vote for the Corruptocrat Party.  And sort of related…. When Fancy Nancy said she would have the most honest, open and ethical Congress ever, she wasn't really setting the bar all that high.

At least with her, we have a prayer of getting a "happy ending"…..

Well there is political genius to the idea lots of men will be making $300 contributions to Kristin's campaign with a special interest  of getting some return service. We might be better off  governed by  real whores who do you a personal intimate favor in return for  donations. The current political system of monetary legislation paybacks to  important client #9  contributors  is bankrupting the country.

It's disturbing to me that I wasn't even surprised when I saw this.   Heck, she'll probably win…at least we'll know what we're getting right up front!

IMHO, Jim, why not? If this lady has much better ideas then some NY state incumbients, whom IMHO, who have become political prostitutes by being in power for so long, then Ms. Davis should go for it! This coming from a person of faith.
