Liberals – Is this what you signed up for? Nelson pay off is criminal

So much for compromise and working in good faith. Our country may be lost … lost to innovation, prosperity, economic growth and good will. Your federal government has so much power and cash they can simply steal from the people and use cash to buy off the votes of other Congress-critters.

Is this how government is supposed to work? The precedents set over the years – with calculation fixes (bribes) built into legislation to ensure congress-critters vote for legislation – is now completely standard operation procedure. If you are one of the many who say “that’s the way it’s been and that’s the way it is” you are the problem. It’s your damn fault since you accept this as normal.

I refuse to accept this as normal. My Symptom of the Disease series is what the fight must be about. Will you read the series, and step out of your comfort zone to discuss the explosive growth and power of the federal government with your friends and family?

If you are one of many bleeding hearts who want the government – hence other people – to take care of you or those who are in need, take your fight to state legislatures instead of the federal government. By asking the federal government – hence 535 power-hungry upper-crust despicable human beings – to manage your health care and your day to day life, do you realize what you are giving up? Your liberty, your freedom (the same thing actually) will be gone.

Then as a bonus, nothing will be better than it is today. I can guaranty you health care quality in the United States will decline and costs will continue to rise. Service will be managed and regulated by the federal government, famous for an Internal Revenue Service who won’t even back up their own advice. If they give you the wrong advice, it’s your damn fault. Pay the penalties and go to jail.

Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) lacks any ethics. I’d be embarrassed to be in the same room with the man. He made a big show of his concerns about federal funding for abortion in the health care legislation, but then came the threat (confirmed by multiple sources) to put Offutt Air Force Base on the BRAC list and close it up.

Then came the big payoff. Democrats provided the state of Nebraska with a lifetime Medicaid break to buy his vote, and deny the Offut threats ever occurred.

What happened to our country? One thing is for certain, I’m not compromising anymore.

My guess is this will be the topic for the Sunday morning shows. I’m so disgusted with what’s going on, I’m not even sure how to write about it.
