Yup. Charles Krauthammer is right. I’m not sure that I have ever seen such wide-spread media bias in my lifetime. The 16 news headlines and ledes I documented on Monday were just the tip of the iceberg, and the faithful are swallowing the meme whole … the mean guys on the Supreme Court are taking away your birth control.
From National Review.
“Certainly it’s going help Democrats,” he said on Tuesday’s Special Report, “unless you know the case, unless you know that the stories being told about the war on women — that women are being denied access to health care — is preposterous.”
I’m reminded of the GOP debate back in January 2012 where ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos asked a question – out of left field – about contraception. The question was a set up, designed to get Republican candidates wrapped up in an issue Democrats knew would kick off a firestorm. The media and the left rekindled an attack front on the GOP that did not exist at the time.
In the absence crisis, manufacture one and then blame conservatives and Republicans for the problem that does not exist. It’s the left’s political strategy and the media is clearly in on it. That’s what you’ve seen during the last two days when it comes to the Hobby Lobby case.
