Juan Williams and Bill Kristol duke it out: 50 seats is a narrow victory.

Ahh, it sure is nice to have Juan back on the left again, and in this bite Bill Kristol is ready to step in and call Juan on this ridiculous statement. At stake …. a steak. Read on, my friends.

Understand the new spin is already being spun. The wizards of smart (HT Rush) on the left have begun to spin a 50 seat pickup as little more than an average mid term election. It is ridiculous on it’s face but Bill Kristol is not content to let Juan get away with it and he … doubles down. “I’ll buy you lunch if it’s 55 or below.”

OK … 55 is a narrow victory. Sure. I’ll take it.

Is the argument "we sucked so badly that the Republicans should have done MUCH better (i.e. taken the entire house and senate)"?

If so, then why is Øbambi all over the country repeating the same speech from his teleprompter?  Or Bill Clinton playing to crowds of dozens?  Or the media working so hard to crush Tea Party candidates through lies, innuendo, and fabricated stories?

Interestingly, Juan didn't seem too eager to take Kristol's bets…..

Fox should fire Juan for his comments.

I can't believe the Republicans are ONLY going to pick up 50 seats, I mean the Dems all but laid down in front of the Tea Party bus as it came crashing through Washington. It is pretty funny though, they blew their horns in our faces after taking congress back in 2006, claiming it was the country saying it was sick of Bush, then they literally swift kicked us below the belt when Obama won, claiming social justice had finally been served or something. But now, just two years later when the Democratic train has gone so far off the tracks, flying off the mountain and landing somewhere just beyond the reservation… WE DIDN'T WIN ENOUGH SEATS FOR THEM!? Seriously, do have to go undefeated today to prove to them that this is for real, that they are no longer going to get away with the same tired old games? They have awoken a sleeping giant ladies and gentlemen, one which will not be lulled back to sleep with food stamps and wellfare. As Vinne Mac (McMahon) would say if he were in our position today…

    YOUR FIRED!
